It helps, but it’s money that does the talking. Loyalty means little where football is concerned.

 

Although the salary cap has gone, there are plenty of clubs at this level that won't want to risk splashing the cash too much in the aftermath of the last 12 months. There is still uncertainty around how long limits on the amount of fans allowed into grounds will last, so until clubs get back to something like their normal revenue coming through the turnstiles, I don't think there is going to be too much difference between what clubs are offering.

You are correct. He started his career as a central midfield player at Forest Green. Leeds then signed him and they converted him into a wide player
