he wasn’t really troubled with any shots was he? all of oldhams chances we’re relatively routine. perhaps the horny remark is over the top, but you can sense the lack of confidence in the defence every single time a ball comes into the box

Did I hear that right that Andy kiwomya thought crankshaw was our man of the match he was terrible.

 

Too static on the ball. Every time our defence have the ball, all our midfielders and forwards stop and ask for it to feet - no wonder we don't look like scoring in a month of Sundays.

On a positive side, although Oldham looked dangerous at times I felt our defence were in control and I was never really worried that we might concede - O'Donnell didnt really have anything but standard 'easy' saves to make.

All in all a bit boring.

Who's this guy Andrew who's on Radio Leeds, wasn't watching the same game as me, now saying Oldham with get a play off place ffs, they were certainly the best team today but a play off place.

 

The tempo is far too slow when we’re playing at home. Too many times we pass across the back four allowing the opponents to get back into position. Canavan for all his aerial prowess is most guilty for taking an age to give the ball, granted he rarely gives it away but it sets the tone for the attack. Rowe is wasted up top on his own, we must have 2 up top.

 

Probably not far off those marks for a team that a month ago were all getting 6 and over. If we didn't know already that's the season over because the players are playing like it is and you can't suddenly switch back on.
Creative wise we're miles off a promotion side.

 

The fan Andy who rang radio Leeds to say that was our best performance of the season must have been a Leeds fan.

Inexcusable? So we should sack them then?? We were bereft of ideas but let's have a sense of perspective, only two games ago we dicked Newport for 75 minutes

 

Turned off at around the hour mark not because of the performance but I've thoroughly enjoyed my sport this week. Really have. I wasn't enjoying this.

I could not agree more on expectations. They have to be measured and ain't happening here. T&S achieved the first part of their remit. To 'expect' a promotion push is unfair on these two.

 

Two words . Utter drivel.
Non existant in midfield and toothless up front.
Oldham deserved far more from the game , although from their 20 shots i dont think Odonnell was troubled much.
Never liked this formation we play, it is too dependant on the no 10 to produce and we have no one but Cooke who can play the role and for me he is average in the position, because his finishing is woefull.
Midfield needs a major re-build again in the summer.
