Thats one on the bingo card to be fair. Again, just be clear, most Bradford City fans do not expect to 'roll over' teams, but they do expect a manager not playing a formation that see no shot on goal for the best part of 80 minutes against one of the lowest ranked teams in the league who concede for fun away from home. For 70 odd minutes those players out there were given little chance to succeed due to a manager fixated with keeping a clean sheet against lowly opposition. i guess we are lucky theres very little decent opposition in this division, today like many games a half decent side would have walked away with the points.

Feel for Morecambe a bit. They were better than us first half. The first 2 minutes provided some genuine comedy from BRE and Wood.
It Set the tone for the half.
Second half. Same as before until the substitutions. Hopefully this is as bad as it gets in terms of performance because it was awful.
Can’t argue with clean sheets and the winning result but this is such limited football. Sideways passing until a diagonal is launched. No midfielders take the ball on the half turn ready to burst forwards. It’s almost always returned back to where it came from or across the back line. DULL.

A bit of credit for Bowyer from me for the way he has managed the team over a hectic Christmas schedule.

The squad has been suffering with injuries and illness, yet we managed a good return of 8 points from 4 games, conceding just the 1 goal.

It was good though to see the shackles come off after an hour of todays game, going 4-4-2.

I have been critical of Oteh lately, however he changed the game today, and looked dangerous, albeit against limited opposition. I would have given him MOTM to be honest. He did more in his 30 minutes or so than any other player over 90.

I expect a return to 3-5-2 at Swindon, and to be honest, I dont mind this in certain games such as this.

 

Any chance BowyerS can remove the shackle before we actually bloody start, or maybe we should just turn up with 20 minutes left.

That's fair comment @Idlebantam this festive period has certainly tested the squad and manager so we have to give him/them credit for the points return we've got in those games, and it could possibly should have been maximum points, I'm with you there will be occasions where we have to try and nullify the opposition but was today one of those occasions I personally think not ?.

 

How Palmer gets in before Cooke is mind boggling

Having seen what Reeves/McCartan and Palmer offers, i am at a loss why Reeves/Cooke and Taylor are not preferred,
Shay played like he wasn't fully fit.
Who knows maybe no-one can pass the ball through the centre of the pitch but out wide the playing surface looks even worse like the ball can land on it and not move.

Zeli comes on and Dylan is re-born when moved out wide but you know bowyer has no plans to continue like this.
Vaughan, although has been ill recently, at league 2 level should be more of a threat when he has the ball but like the fans is probably frustrated with the lack of service to him.

I agree, he came out with some complete nonsense.

 

Bowyer said they had it planed pre-match if they needed to Bowyer would switch to 4-4-2, but to most at the game it coincidence with the crowds frustrations and the chant of Attack, Attack, Attack.
