They’re training the same schedule as Morecambe did, didn’t do them any harm. Maybe it’s shocking recruitment, recruiting players that rarely play or are injury prone what do you expect to happen?

 

But it is something he's done at previous clubs according to Songo, Ross County, Plymouth Argyle or Morecome and it didn't seem to do those teams any harm, all promoted under Adams ?.

 

Who knows that’s why I questioned earlier on had Sparks sold him a pup with good talk? We can only speculate but the fact he isn’t happy or doesn’t seem to be and back room changes are happening would suggest to me that it’s not what he thought he’d signed up for.

Under Sparks a number have already come and gone he simply wouldn’t dare sack Adams I don’t think especially as our start isn’t exactly a disaster some are making out. He won’t quit either what manager does without another job lined up it makes no sense. There seems to be tensions behind the scenes judging by what’s gone on, but I expect Adams will get his own way he’s the only senior person at the club now with actual football knowledge for a start.

 

He's actually set up a entertainment business with his wife if I'm correct, but yes I get he's had his troubles with injuries but, angol, lavery and Robinson all out injured!

 

A lot of clubs in our division acquired Premier league or championship loans yet we have none, There has been some good loans at other clubs that have helped them but we seem not interested relying on unwanted older Pros that other clubs are unloading

 

So frustrating. Under T&S we created little, we looked disjointed in our approach play, but we were fairly clinical from what little created.

Now, we do look better in possession, we create more, but we're so much more wasteful.

 

The thing that disappointed me last night was the apparent lack of fire in our team. We needed to get into their faces, not let them have time on the ball, run all night, want the ball, give the man in possession options and give 110%. IMO we did none of this. In the first half we just knocked the ball around and gave them time to keep their defensive cover and then in the second half, presumably after the youngsters had been given a bit of a rocket and told to get out there and show what they were about, were taken apart.

 

He actually said "the Bradford City fans wanted to see these players play and they have now" or something slightly flippant

 

that's a very valid comment!

My only real rebuttal to you and @SimonW (with your man utd team) is that surely they must know the tactics and strategy? like if Adams or Ole said "now is your chance prove to me that you should be starting" but none of them really did that, ole even subbed on greenwood to salvage that game iirc. granted it was harder after robinson and laverly both got injured but it is what it is.

I'm interested to see what system we play and how the youngsters get on. Maybe pick out a few Man Utd players worth keeping tabs on for the future.
