    Think I'll have goal alerts on for it but that's it. Such a shame... just have the 48 L1 + L2 clubs in 8 groups of 6 then top 4 (32) go through. then go onto knockouts. Either that or just bin it off. only really gets interesting at the final.

    also think it was quite odd adams was giving it large for progressing through this competition and now is playing our C team. Wonder where the quick turnaround came from.

    It'll be interesting if 18 year old striker Charlie McNeil plays. He scored 600 goals at various levels, whilst at Man City, before United paid £700k for him. Robbie Savage's son will probably play

    I'm interested to see what system we play and how the youngsters get on. Maybe pick out a few Man Utd players worth keeping tabs on for the future.

    McNeil is good but Hugill in the u18's is even better. Ritchie Wellens son Charlie will most likely play as well. You may also have to face Zidane.

    If the 2 overage player rule is still active I wouldn't be surprised if a promising youngster called Phil Jones plays some minutes :)
