A few seem to find it difficult to give any positive feed back, although it was far from a great performance we dug in and turned what looked like a point into three.

 

I expected 3 points and we got the 3 points.

Thought LO did a good job but people need to understand we are not going to play like Man City every week. Sometimes we are going to have to grind out a win and we did that last night.

How LO played is how many away teams are starting to play now. With a low block making it difficult for forwards and midfield runners to find space then try to hit on the counter. Liverpool have struggled badly with this over recent months because the other team just has too many number in their box. Bradford City coped well with it and what was good is we have players on the bench that could change the game.

 

I agree with Stevens. I noticed a couple of times again last night where he either gave up the chase, or avoided committing into what would have been a 50/50. I'm less than convinced by what I've seen of him so far.

 

When fans wonder why a club decides to move a player from a div 1 club to a div 2 club its mainly to highlight to the player if you don't sort yourself out you will end up down the leagues.

Yes, the club hopes the player gets more game time but football is about levels and Stevens isn't doing himself any favours at this moment.

 

That's a Peter Beagrie penalty if ever I saw one! Brilliant, that's how you should take one, none of this fancy jinking walk up and trying to roll it in - hit the thing, hard!!!!

He's not a grafter Rowe.
He was playing his usual game but because everyone else were grafting their bollocks off he looked a bit lazy.
Nowt to be concerned about.

 

If we come across a team that decide to park the bus. Crankshaw and Vernham on the wings with Rowe and cook up front that would be a pretty potent forward line

 

Agree. You don't bench a player that scored 2 in the previous game if they are fit to play.

 

Football doesn't work like that. You don't train then go 'oh lets play him because it's bloody windy'

Rowe is playing maybe because he's fresher and we have seen something in their defence that he can get the better of.

 

Rocket up the arse time, far too casual. were at home we should be going at this lot.

 

Orient applying the high press very well. We don't have much clue how to break it down.

 

Soon as we took the bloody knee (stand up ffs) I knew we were gonna struggle..

 

Lacklustre, but still think we looked shall we say far more competent than we did against Barrow and Exeter so for that I’m not saying it’s the worst game under T & S. I’m not gunna single people out for criticism either, it was one of those slow team performances in the main. But I will single one out for praise, Crankshaw thought he was fantastic when he came on.

Happy with that win, not just because obviously it’s a win but we kept going to the end. League 2 is full of them non events every week it’s those that find a way to win them that have a good season.

Also the stats actually show us as very dominant which is a bit of a surprise, thought we edged it. Just.

 

I wonder if Crankshaw has earned a starting place for the next game. He's looked more threatening than Vernam in the last two games.

 

We’re going to see more and more teams trying to frustrate us because of the run we’re on. Great that we have the squad depth to make changes to unlock defences. With Rowe it’s going to be frustrating for him playing that lone striker role. More often than not he loses out and the ball comes back. Maybe he needs to play behind the striker but where can you put him?

 

He must have taken his tablets today. He's talking sense for once.

 

I meant cook but for me Canavan was MOM he was a rock their leading scorer never got a kick
