Why? He was crap and we got money for him. I'd say it was a belting deal.

But more importantly he's a real defender unlike Songo'o and Threlkeld and we don't have enough now.Botswana Bantam, Onside and Briggus like this. -

I don’t blame Canavan that much tbh.
Imagine being hung out to dry week in week out by a manager who would instruct his team to sit back on narrow leads or whilst the team is drawing for up to 75% of the game at times.
As we all know, most of the time we’d go on to concede an draw or even lose games because of this tactic. The players, alongside the manager would take the blame for it, therefore knocking confidence which was very evident in some players, Canavan comes to mind.
An after all of this, the manager has the nerve to throw the players under the bus for the tactics he selects which ultimately costs us games. Now if you were to be in that situation, im sure you’d want to leave the club as wellBotswana Bantam, Bronco and Onside like this. -

That was exactly how a Bolton fan at work described Delfouneso the day we signed him.
With no legs what do we expect him to do when out wide??
More shocking recruitment.

The remnants of this squad with all the injuries is as bad as I've ever seen at City

may have his off days. But honestly, Id say he’s probably been our biggest attacking threat over this season as a whole. Knows how to beat a man an can create a lot more chances than Gillead
As for Eisa, he’s just been really unfortunate with injuries this season. I’ve seen snippets here an there from previous seasons an he was a player I was really looking forward to watching him this season. Just a shame how things have panned out
I also forgot Angol in the list from earlier. Id say he’s a better target man than CookTwo Legs, 1975citygent and Bronco like this. -

no way did we deserve to lose that game tonight . more fight than we have seen in weeks. two set pieces and a break away goal in the last minute have done for us,
Gillead should have scored twice from his headers and their keeper made the great save to keep it at 1 first half.
Trueman is not the man for me though. 1 point from 36 the last 12 matches he has been in control 10 last and 2 this , says all you need to know.Kevin1954, Bantam75 and borderlescott like this. -

Its totally as Jagger described it.
Chuck a load of players into a squad without any clear direction on how we are gonna play and hope for the best that they deliver.
Songo'o has played the majority of the season in defence, Cook has played the majority of the season by himself, We've swapped keepers 3 times, we persist with Watt who underperforms every week, we sign players who are not in form, we sign players who drop like flies, we change manager and recruitment structure every year.
Rupp needs to demote Sparks to commercial manager, get rid of Longo or other way around, keep Longo and bin sparks.
New CEO who has success at lower league level with other teams.
DOF with experience of lg1 and 2 football who has had a solid career or managed well in the past.
A young, hungry coach who the players can relate to, again someone who has had a good career and played at a decent level in the 21st century ( as for me football has moved on so much this last decade).
All with a clear blueprint of how we are gonna recruit, bring through any youth players and most importantly, implement a style of football that yields points whilst also wooing back the public of Bradford to the stadium and giving them much needed entertainment.
Even if this takes 3 years to bear fruit i'm not fussed.
If we finished 10th next season playing the same formation all the way through but giving teams games and creating chances whilst having excitement, mixed in with a bit of progress in the cups to bring in money, then so be it.
Follow that up by signing 2 or 3 decent players the season after and maybe a push for the play offs.
Then in the 3rd year with everyone familiar in what we are doing, playing style, plan of attack, some money to spend after a few cup runs then we go for promotion.
A solid base, a clear direction, a successful strategy.
Not spouting out claims of i'm a billy big bollocks and whilst i'm in charge you won't see mediocrity coming form the CEO and a billy big bollocks manager claiming he's effing god, whilst throwing 11 aimless souls out to the wolves.bantamdave41, Bantam75 and Ponty City like this. -
