    That wasn't a good watch today totally devoid of any attacking intent and with them down to ten men for a full 45 we failed to control the match at all. We look scared to have a go at teams at the minute even with acres of space to move into we are constantly going backwards and slowing the play allowing teams to get into a good defensive shape.

    Still a wins a win and it keeps us moving on although even if we make the play offs I can't see us going up.

    Yes perhaps you are the only person who enjoyed that. A bit like pulling teeth!

    I suppose I can reassure myself they can’t play that poorly again, against the bottom of the table, with only 10 men for 45 minutes again.

    It was dire stuff.

    Three points but that is really all it was.

    It will be remembered for the Payne/Morias incident, that is about it.

    I actually thought Grimsby did tbh. They looked very limited, at no point did they look like they had a man less.

    Basically, they were shite, but so were we.

    I am not in the slightest bothered about the performance, its results that is the most important thing now, and we do seem to have the knack of getting results under T&S

    I think most of us have supported City long enough not to expect ‘comfortable’ wins. You provided the ‘canvas’ for our poor display. But hey despite that we got the three points. None of us were surprised. Disheartened yes! A long way for you guys to get off the hangman’s trap door!

    You should be because if we perform like that against anyone who isn't anchored to the bottom of the league we'll get beat every day of the week. Thankfully we got away with it today but we won't be that lucky again.

    How many times has that comment been made in the past with regards the play off's, 11 against 11 on the day and who can take the pressure of the play off's, we haven't made the play off's yet we might no be good enough when push comes to shove but credit where its due, 25 games ago we looked dead and buried under Stuart.
