    I agree. It would have been quite easy for SMc to acknowledge the kicking problem and suggest it was something they had to work on in training. But instead, SMc tried to defend the indefensible. Everybody watching the game could see what was happening.

    A sublime goal and a lucky goal. That apart we hardly had a chance. Could have conceded many more. Ripped apart in the first half, tightened up in the second. Really should have lost so happy with a point. New blood needed throughout if we're to have a chance of going up but I don't believe we have the stomach for it behind the scenes.

    I think ref saved us going a goal down today O'Donnell kicked the ball out straight to 1 of their attackers who had a clear run on goal and he blew up for an injury to Billy Clarke in midfield. iFollow took their cameras away as soon as the ref blew

    He was never going to criticise individuals.As captain he has to take some responsibility as has been said many times before when they defend poorly there doesn’t seem to be any anger towards each other.Just stand looking at each other
    Exactly.You really are on a slippy slope as a manager when you start picking out individuals.

    Totally agree Park. Made some intelligent runs all afternoon, held the ball up, played Samuels and others in and most of the second half had Rory in his pocket. For me one of his good games in addition to two great clearances first half.

    On the plus side the pitch looked excellent after a lot of recent rain. After the lockdown and a reasonable summer I wonder if the grass has been able to lock together and produce a decent surface.

    Didn't really have McArdle in his pocket but he did alright second half with Samuels allowing him a bit more space. Non existent goal threat though which, along with our fundamentally dodgy defence, is a reason why this squad looks nailed on mid table. We move the ball well at times but those defiencies will only be turned around with better players.

    We scored two good goals and in Clarke have a player that can open up defences, Our problem continues with a soft defence, Get that sorted and we will win games

    I’d like my centre forward and one of the bigger earners to contribute more than some defensive work, winning a few fouls and creating a bit of space for Samuels. If Samuels was knocking in a goal or more every other game alongside him then fair enough. Seven goals in 30 odd appearances isn’t good enough.

    Not too much to expect is it?
