Increasingly impressed with Morais' contributions on the match. Talks a lot of sense.

 

At worst all Adams had to do was lay the basis of a team worthy of moving up and eventually out of this division. He has failed miserably and has to go. His PR has to be the worst ever and is an insult to the Club and its supporters. Sparks has to get to grips and bring in someone to sort this Club out and Adams has to be part of the collateral damage.

I don’t think Exeter even got out of third gear. They didn’t need to. Their left back (caprice?) had our defence for toast. So did their two strikers making runs into the box and along the line. Matty Jay had so much time and space on the ball. They didn’t need to be anything other than “bang average” to beat us.

I have my fingers crossed the trigger is pulled before we get to the Oldham game!!!! I think the penny must have finally dropped for everyone as I am yet to see a ‘give him more time post’. The man is toxic and I have never seen a manger driving a wedge like this guy, people didn’t like Bowyers football but Delusional Derek makes him look like Kevin Keegan by comparison and Bowyer came across as a decent human being. I have said previously if you were a player would you want to play for DA??? If he is given the bullet and someone takes the shackles off we will see a hugely different team, in a division as pathetic as it is our current crop of players should be good enough for play offs at least. I know there is a cost implication but listen to Del Boy in his interview today he is the dogs you know what’s so he will have no problem getting another job so if he is right he won’t cost us anywhere near as much as people are saying to get shut of…… ADAMS OUT

 

I've previously explained, so won't bore everyone by repeating it in full, but I don't think it'll cost anywhere near the figure you quote. Basically, he'd go on "gardening leave" and the onus is on him to mitigate his loss. I didn't want Adams in the first place because I wasn't influenced by his promotions. There are other aspects, which fans are now all too familiar with. It's a folly for any business to keep someone who's failing in their job.

 

I hate the idea of sacking yet another manager but the consequences of keeping him will probably result in a financial loss. I want promotion but I’d settle for being entertained. I am really questioning why I should go.

 

We are just too easy to play against and any half decent manager doing his homework knows we will line up with the god awful 4-2-3-1 and all they need to do is play 3 at the back(leaving cook isolated and dominated by 3 defenders), push the wing backs up they then have acres of space as we are so narrow and have no width (even though deluded Derek thinks we do have width), press our midfield and centre halves and just wait for us to make mistakes (which happens every week). We on the other hand only look to change when we decide it’s time to chase the game, Derek throws on strikers that couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo and with no instruction of where anyone is meant to be playing. From the point he made the double substitution today no one had a bloody clue what formation we were playing and what they were meant to be doing!!!!

 

Adams only has himself to blame. You can’t play a lone striker up front, Provide him no service an have him playing 15 yards ahead of the next line of attack whilst parking the bus, at home no less, an expect to get off scot free. His shit tactics have ultimately cost us the season by February

 

I know he's an ex player but Matt Taylor always talks well about us and seems a respectful guy. As you say, the complete opposite to the arrogant tosser in our dugout.

 

Exeter have won 4 of their last 5, drawing the other.

In that time, they've scored 7 and conceded 1.

Apart from Swindon, all 5 of those teams are gubbins, though.

Exeter sit 6th, and being on good form, are EXACTLY the type of team we MUST beat.

A draw at home on Saturday is nothing short of a season-ender.

Makes a mockery of those reckoning we just need a few wins to scrape into the playoffs. We might be a few points behind Exeter but we're clearly miles behind in terms of playing ability.

They say the definition of madness is doing the same thing time and again and expecting a different outcome. It's even more annoying to watch/listen to it as well though!!

 

Exeter hardly broke a sweat for that win.

We didn't make them work hard at all. They must be laughing. We are we not fighting and pushing to try and score? No desire or effort or maybe they're all knackered?

If Adams stays to the end of the season then we will lose more games than we win.

 

I think too many people got carried away with the result on Tuesday.

 

Adams needs to go, but he's not the biggest problem.
