I'm a critic of the club on occasions but it's supporters..... Superb. This club needs to reward its support.

On the basis of 18k and 2k away fans subtracting 12.7k season ticket sales, that's 3,300 ad hoc BCFC sales

I actually think our defence is ok, despite Songo’s lack of pace. Reckon Paudie will leave though.

Walker would be one of the signings of the summer if we pulled it off but I’d be surprised.

Other players will look at our winning mini run and hopefully buy into what Hughes tells them he’s trying to achieve.

Give Hughes everything he wants and back him. That was terrific support today - best atmosphere I’ve seen this season and club are saying we’ve broken a L2 attendance record?! Great effort.

Not a common score this season. Nor a 2 goal gap.

Clean sheet and pretty much rarely troubled. No backs to the wall stuff. No deep defending and hanging on.

Deserved goal up and found a second when we needed it and perhaps could have been more if we needed to push on.

All in all, almost dull in a way! But in another a well planned, well deserved victory that showed how much we've progressed.

What is not to like about the fella?

 

On Wednesday, April 22 1964 a crowd of 17,974 were in Valley Parade to see the vital Fourth Division promotion battle between Bradford City and Workington.

 

Certainly some highlights …It was the wait for annual re-election where the troublesome times lay!

In the days of no social media it was agonising!

Would I swap em…..? Would we ever dream we would play Liverpool, Spurs, Man U, Chelsea et al in a LEAGUE game……..never in a million years!

 

We were in the Bradford End and believe if all the lads in there had all blown at the ball it would have kept it out of the net it rolled so slowly over the line .
Workington had Exeter at home for their last game of the season Exeter were also going well and actually got promoted, where as we we're away to York who finished 3rd bottom and got relegated but still beat us on the day 1 - 0, well it is Bradford City nothing changes.

 

Is that a joke? The club are promoting the fact that our manager behaved like that, causing a ruckus?

Gibson was tidy enough and probably their best player on the day without really threatening us though.

As for Patrick, same as when he was here, he's fast, but that's it, overall I thought he was poor, especially ball control, which was laughable on more than one occasion.

Probably Carlisle's worst player though was Pizza boy, truly shocking

 

The clubs Twitter feed comes across childish at times, as though it's comments made a by a kid doing his GCSEs.i guess it's all about the likes these days.

 

That’s the in thing these days, I follow a lot of EFL clubs on Twitter to keep up to date and they’re all the same. It’s more like it’s one guy running them all, you always get some 15 years olds creaming themselves over the odd comment though so I suppose it’s whatever sells these days. Not my cup of tea but each to their own I guess.
