You can agree with him if you like but you cant say he is 'right' - its an opinion. How anyone can have a go at our mindset is beyond me, we were a joke just 3 months back and it has been an amazing transformation, the boys deserve nothing but credit - in my opinion!

I'd forgotten Hornby's block with his knees so, yes, it was three on target. Still poor, considering the possession you had second half, so that's credit to our defence.
Our midfield are all pretty young and will only get better, but some of them could definitely use a break.

You know looking at that, I'm very grateful that CD is a clumsy oaf. If he actually had some control, he'd have taken that away from Rowe.

 

Vernam and Crankshaw did have time on the ball, they just did nothng with it. Both were poor today. Credit must go to Trueman and Sellars for the substitutions, until that point we had no goal threat although Andy Cook did ok. A fantastic point in a game where up until the last few minutes we could have few complaints if we'd lost.

We were very wasteful with posession today which probably made Bolton look better than what they were, although they probably did deserve the win. Back four again were excellent but that front six didn't gel today.

 

It's difficult. Andy Cook holds it up well and does all the things you want from sometime leading the line but Danny Rowe is clinical and brings you that added goal threat.

I'd love to be able to get them both on the pitch at times this year but it's definitely a difficult problem to solve.

 

One of the biggest challenges with the repeat Sat/Tues is the limited time on the training ground. We need time to work on patterns of play in possession but I think it’ll come. The great thing is, we’re on a fantastic run and I don’t think we’ve come close to scratching the surface of our ability.

 

As visual as they are, stepovers and rollovers aint gonna work in this division. Vernam today especially guilty of doing too much, when a simple pass would have been better.
Talking of which. What happened to Maddison today? Was looking forward to that. I guess their management realised it was a proper game, rather than a showboating one.
