Bradford City would come straight back down if we did go up!

 

A few of our players looking a bit leggy- Sutton, Vernam and Cooke looking tired. It’s a bit of a worry that we can’t replace them with similar quality players, as it shows they are going to need a rest soon rather than later.

 

He needs to improve his distribution. Dodgy balls out from the back, not finding his man going forward and failing to get balls into the box. Certainly need improvement in that position for me.

 

Looks like I was wrong in wanting Rowe in instead of Cook the former playing well. This match could go either way

 

True but don't you think we've come into it more?

Their defenders are still far more comfortable passing than ours. Ours get nervous and hoof it.

 

The kid Cranshaw has done little first half would T&S bring Clarke on, our Rowe to partner Cook who's winning his fair share of aerial battles against 6'5" Santos.

 

Its not been an entertaining game. Raynor and AK are lauding the quality. For quality, read tempo. Its been fast and frenetic, but not much quality really.

Bolton look like they're dangerous, but I think we are too. A couple of times where Cooke and Vernam have linked up, we look like something might happen.

 

Would like to see someone have a pot when outside the box, just have a bloody go.

Maybe but Rowe wouldn't have been fannying around like Cooke and Vernham on the edge of the box, he'd have been shooting!

We've had by far the best chance of the half, which Cook skied over.

Vernam not at the races for most of it. I reckon he'll be replaced by Clarke if he doesn't show more in the first ten minutes of the second half.

Yeah commentary bigging up the quality of this up to a cringey level. It's hardly el classico.

Missed first 15 minutes but what I've seen has been reasonably even. Crankshaw doing exactly what i worried he'd do by getting am avoidable booking.

Cook hardly had a sniff but then nor has Doyle. All to play for. Come on city!

 

One goal will win this. Callum Cooke needs to get more involved, be more decisive and get forward more. Cook is too isolated.

Match analysis so far: first 15 minutes Bolton, Bolton, Bolton, then we took the sting out and a 50:50 scrap. Need to try harder, or a bit of magic or luck.

 

Danny Rowe. I think its crying out for him.

 

Possibly so but from both teams point of view, defensive shape has been very good.

 

I dont think we will go up. However, if we did, we would obviously strengthen, so not sure how you could come to that conclusion before seeing our squad
