As i said, first time in quite a while that i feel aggrieved at not being allowed in the ground. Lets hope we continue this upward trajectory and it is all the more sweeter once those turnstiles open, enjoy the game eveyone and that includes you mr Fordy,
Although you appear to have reverted to mr negativity about the club again, after a few positive posts.

No just being as honest and open as ever.

The club is going in the right direction but I soon want to see off the pitch investment. On the pitch its about next season but what we are doing so far is a massive bonus in terms of our run. We are nearly where we should be this season.

Banana Bread one of the best selling bottled beers in my bar over here in Tallinn. I remember when I was living in Cardiff in 1997, and there was a great bar called Chapter Arts Centre, which was in a gallery, so they had quite a lot of creative (for the time) beers. Plenty of Belgians, that sort of thing. One evening they were trialing a beer on cask for about two quid a pint, to gather customer feedback about the beer. It was Charles Wells Banana Bread Beer, and it was bloody lovely. I'm always proud to say I took part in the concept feedback. Don't think I've seen it in cask since. If you like the McEwans, try out the other one they have in that range called "Headspace". It's aged in Scotch whisky barrels and is very good.

I don't like Whisky or even the taste of it mate so I'll pass on the Headspace. Did you notice the strength of the McEwans by the way... 7.3%...Eeeek!

They like a man with money.

More than welcome to come and have an afternoon on the beers (when we're out of lockdown). I've always said City fans can have a few drinks on the house! Waiting for @River_City_Bantam@River_City_Bantam to take me up on the offer!

Can’t really detect the whisky, just gives the beer a very toffee like finish.
I’ve got this lined up to go with my curry later. Local brewery Põhjala, who’ve been listed in Ratebeer’s top 100 breweries in the world. I think you can even find their beers in Tesco and Morrisons. This one is a collab with London based brewers Verdant. Also 7,3% abv. 3DCA15C4-868E-4BF7-8C81-89BEE1C31E8C.jpeg 043F4DAD-47DE-40EF-96C6-9F292A9852CD.jpeg

    It's nice that.

    Good selection @bantam65@bantam65

I've got some Badgers for later (queue the jokes!) - Fursty Ferret and Golden Champion. They didn't have the ginger one in which was a shame.

Bottles from the ‘match day squad’. ;) Line up is Micro Brewery Millstone: True Grit first half (solid performance) and Fullers: Bengal Lancer second half (send in the cavalry to finish them off).
Both of these are Bottle Conditioned, unpasteurised with a little brewers yeast, so they continue to mature in the bottle. They tend to be smoother than carbonated beers. I am sure @StaffordBantam@StaffordBantam knows what I mean!
Enjoy the match and enjoy the beer!!

I don't disagree with anything in your post. We would all love to see investment in the infastructure of the club, owning are own stadium and training ground would be a massive step, i just can not see where the money wil come from. You can count on 1 hand the number of people who actually put money into the club , over the years. It will have to be done by generating our own money , hopefully the new comercial manager has a few tricks up his sleeve. Continued sucess on the field will help in this greatly. Now where is my malt whiskey.

Problem is mate that some people have been involved with the club for too long and installed this WE CAN'T DO mindset or is it we can do but we want to fool the fans? Take your pick.
