Well said Wilsden. You are a big club and not just at this level, but much higher up too, so I can’t understand some of your fans talking you down. I know you don’t have as famous a history as some but as you can see from us, it matters not, it’s what you do going forward and how you make history. I’ve never really understood why Bradford never did better than they did. You have a fantastic fan base and could easily survive again in the PL with good ownership. Other than on Saturday obviously, I genuinely wish you well. You shouldn’t be at this level and whatever the result this weekend let’s hope we can both continue our good runs and on to promotion.

View on the Cambridge Utd forum I'm on is that you and Bolton are the teams to watch for making a charge for promotion, not just in terms of results but also consistency and how you're winning. It will be a fascinating game and, as I've said loads of times before, really want Bradford to be promoted this year. Hope to see a Bradford win registered by 4.55pm tomorrow as I've just suffered another 90 mins of iplayer agony. Not sure now where we will be ....it's the hope that kills as they say!

Actually missed being there in person today, for the first time in a long time. There would have been some great scenes when Rowe scored that equaliser. May not have been equal to Flash's goals v Barnsley, but not far off.

 

He's gone up in my estimations from that celebration. I've always felt like he was one of the most rotten parts of that relegated team and never felt he really cared despite being one of our better players this season.

It's clear he does though!

 

So true mate, look this is nowhere near the finished project but what an attitude T&S have developed in the team. Some negative comments during the game on here (the usual suspects) but this is a Bolton team on every bit as good a run as we are on and it was always going to be tough. I said during the week I would take a point and that was not being negative but realistic as to the amount of games our key players are playing and that we will get a few setbacks along the way - but not today in my eyes.
And loved the response of the players to Rowes goal and AK (it was also his moment of the season so far! )

 

I don't get how some of our fans are saying we didnt deserve anything from the game.

Surely the fact we defended so well yet again contradicts this?.

Worryingly I agree with around 10% of them!

We’re going up this season, I’m absolutely convinced of it.

 

We are second in the form table, they are tenth. We've picked up 16 points from our last 6 games, they've got 10. They have just lost their leading goal scorer for the rest of the season. We have a game in hand on them.
Whilst it's still a big ask, it isn't out of the question and I'm surprised a man who never shuts up about the need for us to have a winning mentality is dismissing the possibility so easily.

I do like it when an opposition fan bases our ability on what he sees from Sky video summary of one game (v Mansfield), which is what one of them has done.

Apparently we will be slow, workmanlike and not have much shooting ability “like all other L2 teams”. I’m not thinking we are somehow a huge cut above the other teams, but equally our form and way of playing makes us a very difficult opponent for anyone right now.

@JonButterfield point to start the thread has validity here I think - Bolton’s run, whilst clearly giving confidence, has been against all bottom half teams. If you cover a longer period our run since the new management duo took over includes excellent wins over 4 of the current top 5.

I think if we properly go at them we beat them - they are not going to clog up midfield like recent opponents have tried to do (but still lost). We perhaps just need to be a bit more clinical than of late.

 

None of this settling for a point. We need to be flying into these, putting down a marker. Nothing to fear, we're having this lot.
