The amount of times we take the wrong options in the final third or don't hit the target when we do get shots off, it's no wonder we don't score many goals

Kelleher looks shit. I used to play at centre half in my youth and I remember my coach telling me, 'when you're heading it clear, head it wide. Dont head it into the middle of the pitch outside your area'. And I think I was 9.

 

We make it look such, such hard work in front of goal. I don't think we'll score. We'll huff and puff, but we'll keep making a hash of it.

One way traffic for the last 20mins. a few chances where there was a better passing option rather than try shoot.
We really miss another forward. The runs into the box are decent but with Cook really the only one in there it’s easier enough for them to deal with. I don’t think you have to loose the threat of these runners into the box by making a change to one of the midfield/wide players and bringing on Robinson.

Its only one way traffic because they've got their goal and decided to set up in a low block, knowing how poor we are in front of goal. At 0-0 we were chasing shadows.

 

Cmon DA - have the balls to change formation, and bring on Robinson for Gillead. Chuck Songo on for Evans or even Callum Cooke if you're feeling a bit worried about going too attacking. Because whatever you're doing atm, it aint working!

Well we were appalling up until they scored then actually turned up, again though even with chances struggling to see us scoring. I’d bring Sutton and/or Songo’o as the Evans and Watt partnership isn’t working imo. Gilliead just doesn’t offer the goal threat we need, who’d have thought we were desperate for Lee Angol to return pre season! I’ve been disappointed with Callum Cooke recently when he’s poor we usually are and I think he’s been crap, don’t feel like we are going to do anything when he gets on the ball today at all. We really should have been going all out to bring in a player of real quality in that position who offers real goal threat if we’re going to play 1 up top. But if you buy cheap you buy twice.

Hopefully we can improve second half because we need cheering up!

 

Recently?

 

Adams may have had success in this division but his City players have much to learn and he may just have misjudged the chemistry of his squad. Seems we have been sussed recently but tactics and formations remain basically the same.Managers see success in creating chances but finishing is our weakest aspect.All a bit underwhelming at the mo.He has to make an impact with this bunch before the rot set really in.No second best needed at this football Club anymore.

 

Can see us losing 0-1 and the comments after the match will be!!… we didn’t deserve to lose that game we had 70% possession in the second half, Barrow we’re lucky. Same old, same old…

 

I hope it’s not left so late to not make a difference.
