Adams is doing my head in talking about Angol. Good player but made of glass and another one who can't finish his dinner. His presence isn't suddenly going make everyone else start scoring.

And what's happened to the high pressing, high intensity side from the first few weeks? Robinson trying to press the keeper and centre half at the end all on his own summed it up.

This fan is petty straightforward. Basically saying that Adams's tactics are looking suspect and some of our players (he highlighted Evans and Gillead) are not performing, and we as fans are allowed to be moaning. He's totally right. Adams interview was sketchy to say the least. Brought on players late, so not to allow the oppo an overload. Cmon.....who is the attacking team at HOME here? Wheeled out the usual "created chances" soundbite.

Seems to me like I say it every week, but if we don't win the next game, then we're in trouble. I KNOW it's early doors in terms of the season, but I can't see some sudden turnaround that makes these players all of a sudden click. And I can't see anyone from the bench pushing them to improve and fight for their place.

God help us if we have any more injuries.

Gilliead offers nothing. Tippy tappy outside of the box with zero end product.
Cook must be sick of being isolated game in game out.
Vernham - everything we do including threat and end product comes through him, and barely a thing from anyone else.
Evans for a forward converted to midfield offers zero goal threat.
Simply not good enough. Lack of urgency from both the players and management.

To wait till 7 minutes to go to change a system that clearly wasn't working is one the worst managerial decisions I've seen for a long time at Valley Parade. To then bring on a striker that Cook desperately needed to partner him then take Cook off was the icing on what a cake made of shite. Is Thai really where we are as a side, no better than a team in their second season back in league 2?
Not good enough and quite frankly not acceptable for an apparent 'big club' at this level, no disrespect to Barrow who more than deserved a point today.

 

Hard to win matches when a stubborn manager seems set on picking poor players,

Gilliard, Waste of a shirt,
Evans, The nearly man, Slow and watches the game pass by him,
ROD, Probably the worst keeper in the league,
Adams, Picks the same team when we cannot score and expects us to win with a poor team and one up front at home, He seems to fear teams handing them the initiative instead of wanting to beat them,
Unless he makes changes this team is going nowhere,
Crankshaw, Sutton, Songo and Hornby must wonder what they have to do watching this shite.

I think we have enough good players to win most matches but this manager seem incapable of picking them,

 

My thoughts exactly regarding both the timing of the subs and then to take Cook off rather than to give him some support!
I’m not being knee jerk - I’ve been a fan of Adams so far so not turning based on one game.
But, he needs to learn from that today.
I almost wonder if the refusal to change things was a two fingers at the poor recruitment at the top end of the pitch.

 

Did well last week but looked every inch a non league centre half today as expected.
