Fair enough. I don't know enough about the composition of their squad to comment on that. But I honestly cannot see him being the man to get a tune out of our lot.

 

He might not have spent much on fees but this load of signings can not have been cheap on the wages

 

What a load of tripe. If he starts winning games and gets us towards the top of the table scoring plenty like some of his teams there will be bums on seats. Football fans are fickle people. We are not a charity and it's not a popularity contest. We need to win at all costs.

One thing I am not is fickle I stick to what I believe in and many I know wouldn't go because of Evans. You are right it's not contest about popularity but you only have to look at how Edin wasn't popular that we lost around 4k ST for this season employing Evans would IMO make fans turn more.

 

No it won't.

Fans have brought their season tickets now and if Evans or however picks up results by the 14 of April which might mean we have a chance to stay in div 1 then expected sales will stay the same.

We need the best man for the job and not bend over to a few who can't cope with that fact.

Evans would do a great job, do I really want him- NO but Bradford City comes 1st and we would be extremely foolish not to consider him. I support the club!

 

That rules out pieman then. His record is terrible. His only success has come when he has had a pile to spend, his brand of football is poor and when his team doesn't win, it's the refs fault.

 

Disagree I support the club something I have done since 1979 as a very young kid but that doesn't mean I support someone I dislike should they get the job. People forget it's not that long ago his name was mentioned and the outcry from quite a few was there to see doubt it has changed.

 

I don't think many have bought season tickets yet to be honest. Lack of numbers updates from the club says so.

 

There isn’t any managers who I wouldn’t give my support, if they are managing city. Obviously if they don’t succeed well then they will leave in due course. However, I draw the line at Evans, this man and I use the word as a loose description showed his lack of respect for this club when he exposed himself to a female employee. Not only that he was involved in financial fraud when at Boston. This is the slug you now wish to come to our club. Unbelievable, the managers job is key, you represent the club and all it stands for. Yes we are desperate for a new manager to pick us up, but he would be do devisive, we need to mend this club not smash it apart.

I'm sure if Evans were to be appointed, he'd be the first manager to get booed on his debut approach to the dugout. Like most supporters I would like the best man for the job.

I don't hate, him I like him. He's a good manager, talks a lot of sense and has a proven track record in leagues 1 & 2. Yeah horrible to play against but if he's fighting for us so what!?

Along with fight he has DESIRE and PASSION something which our players don't!

If someone like Evans can come in, bang a few heads together and kick the dustbin around the dressing room it might be exactly what we need!

You would choose Jamie Lawrence, a convicted criminal, whom has physically done 4 years for robbery and violence but not Steve Evans because he is a convicted criminal.

Exactly - not the time for love affairs! All this about jones Blake Lawrence - not what we need at all. Great players but we need experience. Steve Evans will keep us up - he's the man for the job whether people like it or not
