Funny how Robinson not playing for the best part of the season has turned him into a world beater?

 

In answer to the question there are few who have shown promise. Jim O'brien while he was here I wish we could have held onto him, David ball has given everything when he has played, Lewis O'brien has been good for the most part, Kelvin Mellor has shown that he is more than capable when fit, Caddis has been a good signing and I genuinely hope we can get him in the side next season, Payne and Butterfield have shown glimpses of the ability they have but are both too lightweight to play in the same team in the lower leagues and finally Scannell is a fantastic player but his injury issues are holding him back. Everyone else I'm afraid are distinctly average or out right poor.

 

FGS Dennis, nobody is raising the issue of what offence has or hasn’t been committed. But it is a valid point that he isn’t being allowed to play whilst an investigation is ongoing and hasn’t been concluded some 9mths later. It is unfair and Park & BradfordBanter make valid points.

By all means clamp down on any talk of his offence (alleged offence), but to not let us talk about the impact and reasons we have lost him for a whole season, is talking censorship too far.

 

L Obrien for playing like the other 10 should have . And Jacob Butterfield when playing a more forward role. And Scannell in the few games he has played

 

It was widely acknowledged at the time when he was playing he was making a positive contribution, Wigan away comes to mind. He's not been charged with anything yet, the law of the land is innocent until proven guilty, you should follow that too.

 

Lewis O'Brien, Davd Ball and Paul Caddis.

 

O’Donnell started off looking a decent keeper for this level. But even his performances over the last 6-8wks have been shaky.

Caddis was probably the pick of the defenders, but his game has gone off the boil in the last month too. A fair few goals have come from crosses from our right and Caddis is as guilty as any for that.

Paudie has at least provided some signs of being a decent defender. Not as easy to bully off the ball than the jokers alongside him, but still easily beaten in the air.

LO’B has been the most consistent player at the club and had we have had a PoTS, he would have earned it. Needs to work on his shooting over the summer though. He’s probably had more chances in the last 8wks than Doyle and not taken any of them.

JO’B was another in the mould of Andrew Davies. Fully committed player that would give his all, but as a result picks up more than his share of injuries. Had he stayed and kept fit, our season may have been so much better

Everyone else has flattered to deceive. There have been good performances from the likes of Payne, Ball, Scannell etc, but few and far between.

LOB - most consistent player of the season, not bad for hjs first season at first time level

JOB - shame he left for another club so soon

Paudie - only seen him a couple of times, but impressive in both games

 

What I do find wrong is whether guilty or not is the length of time it takes to decide whether to proceed not fair on him or the complainant

 

And therein lies the problem. Breunker without doubt lacking technical skills and abilities shamed those arguably more able players. Had they shown similar effort, maybe things would have been different.

 

Luca Colville has shown glimmers of being a decent attacking midfielder, but seems to have the same condition as some of the others.....glassitis.

 

Doesn’t take a lot to be better than 90% of the current squad! Seems to be a lot of misplaced confidence in Robinson, especially given that his absence was down to his own stupid fault.

I'm enjoying the people tweeting him saying he should be back with us and in the team and he's our best winger and such - I wonder if he's found guilty of his alleged crimes they'll be saying the same thing..

 

To be honest Park I'm not clued on the legal system, I just don't understand how one player is facing charges and is suspended, and another is facing changes but yet is scoring goals in our division, very odd.
