    Whether Harrogate or Notts Co get promoted, doesn't make a difference how far we have fallen back under Rupp, not Rhodes by the way.

    You miserable sod. Harrogate in the EFL is absolutely magical. Good on them and its a reward for the owners investing in the club with a clear plan. A clear plan is something we need sooner rather than later.

    This is it. You call for a clear plan and something I have for years but our CEO Rhodes doesn't have one but you still back Rhodes.Still back Ryan and then wonder why we are now in the same league has bloody Harrogate. It was Salford last year but now Harrogate and Barrow.

    If this isn't a wake up call to Bradford fans of the failure of this club then nothing will. Maybe, us being in the non league will open people's eyes. Too late then!

    So, yes I am a miserable sod because I hate failure! Hate it! I am in things to win! I am taking no joy of Harrogate being in the same league as us none! If we were in the PL then fine but we are in div 2 and a club going backwards!

    Ten a penny are small clubs with big ambitions.

    Crawley, Fleetwood, Forest Green, Burton Albion, Accrington Stanley, AFC Wimbledon, you could maybe throw Lincoln City in to the mix. They go up a bit, then come back down. That's why they lack potential.

    Salford City are yet another, but an apparent exception in that SO FAR it's not clear where their ceiling is. It could be League One football, could be higher, I guess it depends how much money they're prepared to waste.

    I think what some fans, not you or anything Dave, don't get is you can't both argue that Bradford City are a) 'not a big club', and simultaneously state that we're underachieving.

    It's actually one or the other, and some fans need to decide which they think we are - rightfully placed, and therefore nothing to moan about, or horribly underachieving because we do in fact have reams of potential and should be AT LEAST a Championship club.

    One or the other.

    Salford City have a new ‘pop up’ style stadium, with a capacity of 5,106. Reasonable enough for League 2, passable for League 1, but wholly inadequate for the Championship.

    I would anticipate that their support could rise to about 8,000 if they got to the Championship.

    There are already local established ‘Giants’ in Manchester United and City, and a plethora of small clubs such as Oldham and Rochdale close by.

    They are close to the remains of Bury FC. When Bury and Stockport were in the Championship, then they had average attendances of 6,177 Bury and 7,900 Stockport. Both were established clubs with long histories of support.

    Salford City will be squeezed by the surrounding clubs (Bolton is not far from the northern edge of Salford MBC) and will probably hit a ceiling of support and progress.

    When their owner and glam former Man U players lose interest, they are likely to wither away.

    Look how MK Dons have stalled, arguably with far more potential.
