    The pitch was an absolute bog in one corner as it slopes to one side .

    Yes, and the one you posted of the Bradford End is totally different to the current Bradford End. Both have changed massively.

    @Bigrod@Bigrod - notice the "mud diamond" , every club, every season and still we managed to play on it. I know we've moved om but it makes the VP pitch of the last few years look almost billiard table green and smooth/ Love it.

    The picture is from 1975. Thing is that it was very bad in the centre although to the Bradford End, the corner bits look reasonable. At present the area between the Kop goal-NW Corner extending a third of the pitch is arguably worse than that picture.

    Thats what they've done .
