Nothing wrong with Sutton, he comes on and brings energy, just as the opposition players are trying.
Come on the last two games and we have picked up 3 points.

Some are grinding their teeth in frustration as there is little to complain about.

 

If the other players worked as hard as Sutton and gillead we would be winning teams a lot easier than we are at moment ,they haven’t half the skill of most of the team but put the effort in ,we don’t close teams down and rely on individual skill at moment to win games .I know we’re doing well at moment but never feel we’re putting 100 per cent in .when we’re up against a top team we must up our closing down of other teams to get ball back

 

Apart from when he was actually our best player in some of those poor sides, particularly just before his bout of covid. He has also scored goals and created chances, so I really don't get what you are getting at. I agree I don't think he's a starter with the squad we have now, but whatever he is doing is working because our subs are actually affecting games. For what it's worth, I don't think he's quite the player he was. He seems to have lost a yard of pace, but is also playing with more discipline. Maybe MH has told him to hold his position more and not take chances.
