All three Co owners have different skillsets and added together all three have a vision and plan that takes Peterborough to the next level. It does help when you have a chairman hell bent on success like MacAnthony. Love the plan though, it's not just football based, if it was it wouldn't be financially viable. I was discussing this on a WhatsApp group earlier, our best chance of building a successful sporting legacy that can be enjoyed by future generations was at the turn of the millenium. Unfortunately thhere was short term gain but no long term plan. We now are at a point 20 years later where we could realistically see one of those teams not even playing in its home city and the other one drop out of the football league structure for the first time in its history.
Pity poor Bradford.

Just checked and it WAS Steve Parkin at Clipper Logistics. Thanks very much Mark lawn/ Julian Rhodes for pissing off such a successful business man.

It's a brilliant podcast with great insight into Darragh's recruitment system and lots of other tips of the trade.
He operates 'Money Ball' + intelligent football scouting.
He's mad on data, analysis and then he has two scouts on his payroll. Once they watch twice, Barry Fry watches and then Darragh. £60M in player sales during his time.

He also referenced lower league sell ons particularly Watkins and McBurnie.
But mentioned Exeter reinvesting in the academy.
Where as our money went to cover the Rupp loan/overspending.
I would like to think Sparks might pick up the phone-I’ve no real confidence in him due to the situation we’re in and his first major decision to reward failure but maybe if he starts to give some signs he’s looking toward the club infrastructure alla Posh -

Not sure where he gets the 15-17k when midtable in the league from, but apart from that you can't argue with anything he says.
You'd like to think there is someone out there who could come into City with a vision and a strategy, like Peterborough have with him. Until then the best it seems we can hope for is that we can go on the odd cup run, or sell a player/benefit from a sell-on clause, just to stay afloat - and unless we can find the right manager to work in those conditions (a la Parkinson 2011-16) there's lots of mediocrity ahead. -

Compared to Peterborough we are a sleeping giant. If Posh introduced £150 season tickets they’d probably sell about 7/8000. He will look at the attendance against Chesterfield in 2016 of over 20,000 for what was a meaningless game as we had already qualified for the play offs. Someone like him could really get this club going, but unfortunately people like him are few and far between. Lawn and Rhodes as a team took five years of football similar to today before we got going and then it was down to amazing cup runs rather than their entrepreneurial skills.

On a serious note, that is impressive vision. Wasn't there some talk of the guy who owns a big logistics company in Leeds wanting to buy us as some point, but being turned down as Mark Lawn wanted to keep a stake himself ? Not 100% sure who it was (might have been Steve Parkin who is a major bod at Clipper Logistics, someone can correct me on that if it was not him).
Whoever it was wanted to merge us and the Bulls into a Bradford Sporting Group, but true to form we turned him down and he was sent away. I wonder if he still ahs the same vision, the dire straights both clubs are in (and the potential of both) would make it a great deal now, even if his plan was to demolish both stadiums and build a new one.Stop hovering to collapse... Clipper Logistics, a delivery business he founded in 1992. He made £30m from the company when it floated in 2014 and still owns 31.6 per cent. It handles clothing for Asda, Supergroup and others. He is worth an estimated £190m.
