Bowyer went and watched it himself which makes it worse.

Are people actually starting to deflect to Drury?? :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:
When are people going to understand that you can't just blame one or two people for the team being awful.
We didn't lose yesterday day because of Akpan. We didn't lose last week becasue of Akpan.
What do people think Drury is doing? Sabotaging games? Leaking information to the opposition? Are people blaming him for all the different tactics and huge amount of players we have already used this season?
This singling out of people really has to stop. The drivel on Twitter slagging Akpan off is embarrassing. Football is about the collective. It's a team sport. For it to be successful you have to have it running smoothly from top to bottom. Morale has to be high and you need consistency and momentum. Taking Akpan out of the team won't stop us being crap. The same with Drury.

It would be a start though.

I think most fans understand that, but are expressing their frustrations, anxieties, and anger as best they can. Now then you obviously have a good idea why we are crap perhaps you might like to enlighten the rest of us?

I know for a fact it isn't down to Akpan and Drury. To think anything else is is pretty stupid.

So who's replacing Akpan then and what have you seen on Drurys coaching that is leading to bad performances?

So the fans just have to sit back and suck it up then? You don’t have answers either. I just want our situation to improve.

Akpan should've been replaced on the first day of the window with a tough tackling midfielder. That one is on Bowyer.

However I agree, at the minute, it's either replace him with Devine or anderson who are just as bad or replace with Devitt or Cooke which maybe too attacking.

To be honest it's the players in front of him that are the problem and out wide.

Palmer has been awful. Devine and Anderson are just extremely poor players. Out wide only Wood has been decent.

If we're blaming an DM for our problems then we're in massive trouble. A DM is there to help stop attacks but if we're concentrating on him that highlights that too much pressure is coming onto our defense and we're not controlling games.

Akpan isn't the problem. The problem is Bowyer and Drury haven't got a clue! Play a formation and stick to it. Stop being weak minded and negative. Teams we play against at the minute their team talk is easy " The biggest team in the division are scared of you all. Changing formation for you lads. Go out there and roll over the cowards and Bowyer. Set of pus&y's they're"

OK. I'll bite. I clapped O'Donnell in appreciation of the couple of excellent saves he made. I clapped Vaughan for his goal and all round effort and leadership. I clapped Conor Wood and Ben Richards-Everton for their performances, which I thought were good despite the defeat and other obvious shortcomings in the team performance.
I didn't clap the result and I certainly wasn't very happy, but I reserve my right to applaud effort and individual performances as I see fit.

I disagree, teams who play good football in league 2 generally go up and then also do very well in league 1.
    Eg. Luton, Lincoln, Burton
I’d prefer us to be like the above, not a team just good enough to get up but then struggle season after.

You couldn't have seen City beat Stevenage at home under Peter Taylor. We won 1-0 but the response included a lot of boos after a dreadful performance. I didn't boo but I certainly didn't applaud anyone after that game. You couldn't have described a boo after that game as moronic.
The implication from your post is that a loss should merit boos from supporters. I cannot agree that it is as black and white as that. Surely you can accept that some individual performances could merit praise, even in an overall poor result.

Perfectly right, and yet you look at that Stevenage side:

Chris Day - incredibly experienced goalkeeper, one of their legends
Scott Laird - earned a move to Preston, played 80+ games there, good left back in his day
Mark Roberts - went to Fleetwood and helped them to promotion to League Two
John Mousinho - earned a move to Preston, another good defender
Ronnie Henry - enormously experienced defender, one of their legends
Joel Byrom - earned a move to Preston, very experienced midfielder still in L2
    Rob Sinclair - sub-standard L2 player/multiple promotions from non-league
Michael Bostwick - bought by Peterborough, we all know who he is, very good player
Charlie Griffin - sub-standard L2 player/multiple promotions from non-league, enormous experience, superb goal return at a low level
    Yemi Odubade - sub-standard L2 player
Chris Beardsley - earned a move to Preson, good worker

They also had Peter Vicenti on the bench, as well as other very experienced players.

    Stevenage got promoted that year.

There's no question City fans went to that fixture and thought "a Conference team, we should pagger these", and yet we only won 1-0 and struggled most of the game. City fans booed a victory over a soon-to-be-promoted side with some genuine League One quality.

Typical City fans, not understanding the game.

Huge pet peeve for any fan is watching players who look lost. Really annoying to watch someone just running about and having zero effect on the game. Midfield has been especially irritating so far.
