So true. Heckingbottom has collected 16pts from his 16 games. Whereas the sacked Christiansen managed 44pts from his 30 games.

A very similar situation to ourselves where a manager was sacked and the replacement didn’t fair any better. The one thing I would defend both with is that they are working with someone else’s squad. Hope both get longer to prove the doubters wrong with their own players

 

I really don't think you can say he's been poor until he's had the chance to bring in his own players.

Very few of those players would be ones he wants and the one that looked a real find in McGowan got injured after two games or whatever!

Judge him when he's had the chance to bring in his own players. If we're still poor after 6-8 games then it's a fair shout.
