You do know that McMahon is out of contract and very likely to be leaving in a few weeks

 

If you have been following the thread the speculation is if Grayson stays so does Macca of course it’s up to you if you believe it

 

Tony McMahon almost signed for Blackburn last summer. He was tempted to stay but we still only offered him a 1yr extension.

In the January window, Scunthorpe made an offer to sign him and he was more than interested in the move. City would have allowed him to leave had we signed the replacement (from Blackpool) and/or got the fee we wanted.

Why on earth do you think that we will offer him a deal longer than 1yr? If we wanted him to stay, we would have offered him an extension in January but either we didn’t or he refused. There will be a lot of interest in him this summer and I just can’t see him staying. Especially if we are to believe he missed all of January with a non-injury related absence.

Abbo had submitted a player target list before his illness. Although Terry Dolan has a depth of knowledge within footballing circles,I cannot see the Bradford connection working in such a role. Still mindful of the Baldwin connection though. But anything goes and everything is in the air right now!
