Yes, but you need to make allowances for the first few matches (until after Blackpool) when the issue was clearly the prima donnas on the pitch. What we’ve seen since Blackpool isn’t great but give him his own budget and let him have a go.
The alternative which is another six weeks of uncertainty is not an option (unless parky comes back).
My support for him is based on the fact that he inherited a shambles with players ruling the roost. He’s seemingly sorted that. Remember cloughs experience when he took over at Leeds ? Our “player revolt” at their love of the former manager isn’t dissimilar.
This would be all academic if he’d had even a week of the transfer window (or the emergency loan window) to operate in.

Grayson says he has a couple of things to sort out and he has got a couple of meetings with Edin and an announcement will be made in 48-72 hrs regarding his future. Now how anyone can decide that he's staying or leaving over these comments I haven't got a clue and it's all guess work. If he stays then all well and good and if he leaves then we will bring in another manager who can build his own side. The one thing I will say is if Graysons is leaving then why would we follow his retain list, surely that should be down to the new manager to decide.

“A lot of other things need to be done behind the scenes as well. You have to focus on the main things that a football club needs – and that is the first team.”
This goes against the owners philosophy and indicates to me that he wants less focus on the longer term strategy of developing youth. We can’t and shouldn’t aspire to become a Crewe Alexander (of yesteryear).
If he stays I think we’ll have a real go because despite the budget being modest. It will be focused on the first team which should be more than last year, if less is spent on development.Idlebantam, TallinnBantam and Silverbantam like this. -
Supporter owned, so run very much with a focus on youth development.
Tisdale has been there for 10-15 years and they've built a conveyer belt of youngsters.
They got lucky with a young squad on 2-3 year deals and got to the league one play-offs 7/8 years ago.
Then those good players left to get more money elsewhere. They struggled to replace them and had a few poor years in the bottom half of league 2.
Then they sold the young centre forward, who was highly rated, to Brentford. That's funded a play-off spot in League 2.
If Grayson goes, I fear we've become a feeder club like Exeter.Bronco, Seasideman and Hulmebantam like this. -

Is there any reason other than your own self importance why you should want to start another thread on the same subject? -

I don’t care if he stays or if he goes, just like SM last year, but I do want it deciding this week so we can start rebuilding for next season.
The owners have been here for three closed seasons now and each year they haven’t had a manager in place. This then stops the rebuilding starting for the forthcoming season.Offside, pns1945 and Ulysses S Grant like this. -
Yes they should be putting their hands in their own pockets because ultimatly they are the ones who will make a very good return on their investment if they are sucsessful, they came in implemented their ideas it wasn't sucsessful and by the soundbites in that article unless money if found their own or a loan, Grayson will walk and they are back to getting someone who believes in their model, maybe a 4th teir German manager. -
