Good to see you taking such a keen interest. Now, haven't you got people to threaten via private message?

Said it on the previous thread, you cannot continue to underfund the police force and expect to prevent these outcomes. It’s no coincidence it is getting worse. The threat of terrorism has never gone away, as you say the majority of is our own doing, yet terror related arrests are down year on year but active investigations and cases continue to sky rocket. Theresa May was warned and practically embarrassed as Home Secretary in what she was letting this country in for and she ignored it then, ignored it as prime minister and her party continues to ignore it now.
There are other measures too and controlling who comes in is one of them, but the police were overstretched with it all years ago and warned this would happen.

tactics have changed. They no longer make bombs or carry guns. They don’t need to. They don’t even hire vans anymore and mow people down. All they need is a knife. Frightening.

On a side note you only have to look at the parties in London the police can’t even control and they are powerless to do anything. Even running away at times. It’s not easy to watch. They are losing the streets there. The thin blue line is getting thinner and thinner.

Asylum seekers waiting a decision on whether they will be allowed to stay should be held in camps until the application is resolved, Then they can be helped to integrate in the community or removed from the country, At the moment we are paying £BILLIONS to private companies to house them in slum conditions with little control on where or what they get up to.

Underfunding and under training is an issue. But it's not the only one. It's a lack of leadership and public backing. I know a few police officers. I'm good friends with a couple and I can tell you, morale in the force has never been lower. They feel utterly helpless and a mixture of either being mismanaged or completely abandoned. It's all targets, political sensitivities and a lack of courage to actually fight crime and police the local community. The idea of police brutality in this country being a systemic thing is laughable. We have one of the softest, lightest treading police forces in the world. Large scale civil disorder is coming. In fact I think we're seeing the start. BLM protests, right wing protests, riots in Brixton and similar scenes in other boroughs, a mass fight on a welsh beach, large scale disorder in Liverpool. All within the last 3-4 weeks. And that's not including the stabbings in Reading or Glasgow.

If you can't see the difference between the countdown thread (which is for inane drivel) and a thread about the Glasgow stabbings then you're thicker than I thought. And I already thought you were really, really thick.

Another ‘unlicensed street party’ in London last night. It’s become a nightly thing and it isn’t going to just stop. The rule of law has been lost, completely. To change it, there’s going to have to be a much tougher stance - which could actually create more problems.

Add to that the fear for all officers of doing the slightest thing wrong and losing their jobs over it. The “freedom” to police has gone

100% correct, and at times for their own safety, one officer goes down these thugs would kick the officer to death, many have no control once with the pack.

Another thing that must stop is the “trying to be in everyone’s gang” that the police do currently. Having rainbow face paint at pride marches, pride cars with graphics on the side with bright colours and Pride all over It. Dancing around at carnivals. No. You are the police and must uphold the law for all with no discrimination. Be part of the community yes and be friendly and approachable but the rest. Stick it in the bin otherwise you find it hard when you have to get tough.
(Before anyone says it I have nothing against any community/following etc it just has no place being promoted by police forces)

The police aren't there to be your mates, the clue is in the wording. All this bollocks about community police and neighbourhood teams, police are there to uphold the laws of the land. Watching the police get run out of places in the likes of London is quite embarrassing.

The UK loves to vote to get rid of the toilets, and then moan that there’s piss and shit everywhere.

They were got rid of because as usual we couldn't trust human beings to use them properly. Although having seen the mess left behind on Bournemouth beach and the celebrations in Liverpool it doesn't surpise me one bit. You could have put dozens of bins and toliets there for usage and it wouldn't have looked any different. We live in a very selfish society.
I'll give you an example, i had to go make a report on my stolen tools a couple of months ago. Only station open these days in Bradford is the HQ on Nelson Street, can't even get in at Lawcroft House these days. Couldn't have a piss because the only toilet was for the disabled and they didn't have the key, which they kept locked because of constant misuse. In a police station, i kid you not. We really do have to share oxygen with a sizeable number of feckwits.

The police have made a rod for their own backs really recently, and I am talking about the chiefs. The nonsense in Bristol when thugs were allowed to destroy a public statue whilst the police officers were directed not to intervene by their chief, was a disgrace

You have some that were taking the knee with BLM protestors, another disgrace. One of the agendas of the BLM movement is to abolish the police force as we know it

Let's start getting tough with these thugs and round them up plenty of footage of the Brixton rioters for example to help identify then, and the Bristol anarchists too.

There is a real split down the middle with folk behind the police and others dead set against them. I've never seen such a divide as we have now, the job of policing gets harder every day because of sheer incompetent politicians.

    It was a metaphor mate.

The UK as a population want a Police station in every village, and a Bobby on every corner. But no fcker wants to pay for it.
