Its a double edged sword if Gibb had not purchased the stadium we would not have met our creditors demands, we all know what that meant at the time, hence why Julian took on the tenancy deal offered by Gibb, you do talk some rubbish, Gordon Gibb or the pension fund have had their investment back and more so your comment with regards Flamingo Land are just not true.
Just where are you suggesting we up root to that can accommodate 20,000 football fans after our deal is finished in 2028 I believe, that has been discussed to death yet posters like yourself still believe Bradford City hold the aces get real, I know who's seat I'd rather be sitting in and it aint Bradford City's.

You’re right that finding an alternative suitable home would be tough but Coventry did it as did Rotherham. Both of whom are now in much better positions than we are.
We simply cannot enter into another 25 year lease at £500k whilst in the basement league.
What might be a compromise is that the rent charges are aligned to which league we are in where league 2 is 100k and the PL is 2 million etc etc -
Your examples above Coventry were forced out of the city because of their ground situation and they still had to return to the Ricoh Arena, and there is still a lot of problems going forward with regard the stadium I believe.
Rotherham got a new stadium because they were forced out of Millmoor when Ken Booth was the owner of the stadium having to play at the don valley stadium for a number of years, Tony Stewart a life long Rotherham fan was very much behind the financing of building of the New York Stadium, do you believe Rupp will finance a new 20.000+ stadium, the New York Stadium cost £20 million back in 2011 I'd suggest you could triple that at least for a modern stadium that held 20,000 in this day and age.
Seriously do you believe with 5 years or so to go Gordon Gibb is worried that Bradford City Football Club have any bargaining power with regards stadium cost going forward, lets hope if there is another deal to be had which there will be, it will be on more favourable terms than the last one, because some serious money will need investing soon I'm not sure Rupp will be up for that as the tenant, can we hope Ryan is talking to Gordon Gibb with regards becoming the new owner, we can dream. -
Barnsley would possibly be an option but once again I think we could wave goodbye to 15/16,000 City home fans traveling a 60 mile round trip, that's even if we could offer cheap season tickets.
During Coventys time at Northampton there home attendances were shocking even though they were boycotting for a different reason to what we would have, these are a few of the home attendances.
1,603 v Carlisle, 2013-14
1,618 v Crewe, 2013-14
1,627 v Port Vale, 2013/14
1,637 v Walsall, 2013-14
1,697 v Stevenage, 2013-14
1,789 v Colchester, 2013-14
1,815 v Tranmere, 2013-14
1,961 v Rotherham, 2013-14
1,966 v Shrewsbury, 2013-14
2,046 v Gillingham, 2013-14
I wish I had you're confidence with regards Gibb making an offer we couldn't refuse, after the one season for the reasons I've posted above, but unfortunately I believe he'd take one look at our home attendances and realise we need him more than he needs us IMO. -

However hard the alternative’s are, there are alternatives. -

To get the best deal for the club it may mean difficult decisions on the stadium.
Rest assured though if we continue to pay £500k a year in rent we’ll probably see out history in the bottom 2 divisions without major investment. -
I can't see either being an option for the very reasons I've given, fans wise and sponsorship wise, lets hope Gibb is looking more into getting back into football as he was quoted as saying his time at Valley Parade has not put him off another dabble in the game. -
I can't see in these difficult times our council being interested in helping out, and to be honest I don't want my council tax putting into a private business who's owner is reputed to have a net wealth of €130mill. -

Morrisons the latest announced just this week. Also i believe the shop is doing a roaring trade and don't we get at cut of sales above a certain point from the catering. -
We would know if the club had filed the accounts on time -
