Been in the job two minutes and backtracking quicker than Bradford Citys defence.

I kid you not, this was the ad under the reply box. Makes a change from El Tangoman and them asking me to tell them how unfairly the media treats him.

In this case, the force said patrols were taking place in response to an increase in violence involving weapons in the area, and in addition the vehicle was being driven suspiciously.
So a young couple with a baby in the back of their car have been stopped because of an increase in violence in the area because they were driving suspiciously. So if the athletes are correct that they weren't driving erratically then what was the reason for stopping a young couple? That's the crux of this. Someone is not telling the truth. If it can be proved that they were driving safely then what is the reason for the stop? The athletes perceive it to be racial profiling which is unlawful.
You posted this picture on your FB wall the other week with innocent intentions, I'm sure:
You've had discussions on this thread about how all the kids of your era in Bradford had it tough growing up poor. Your white privilege means that you're not 9 times more likely to be stopped and searched than a black person. Do these stop and searches result in more arrests? Not according to Home Office reports:

And Sky’s character assignation of the UK police force continues.

Nowhere in the article does is it state how many people are employed as Police Officers or PCSO’s in this country. It’s approximately 160,000. So the percentage of those with convictions is 0.001%

must have been the odd one out at family parties.
He was 2nd generation North African I think - but then again so is a vast swath of the French population.

Mr Chouviat was of Algerian origin. In France, young black North African men claim they are disproportionately targeted by police.
