The TV channels and media have spent a good amount of time talking about conditions in Qatar throughout the world cup.
The BBC did a 30min segment on it prior to one game.

He should apply to go on Question Time where he can be challenged on the correct programme. -

He said he was going to do this on Have I got news for you, when they questioned him about it.
Even Roy Keane has gone on record during this world cup to say it shouldn't have been held there.
I know the Daily Mail sees this as the biggest issue of the day and have dedicated most of their front page to it, but vast majority of normal people aren't trying to silence him or call for him to lose his job, after all aren't you against Cancel Culture? -

He didnt say it was as bad. He said we cant ignore our own issues whilst popping off about other countries.
What he said was truthful and it was also very relevant to the situation. Qatar WC has been singlehandedly about the issue of corruption and workers rights. It was like that prior to the WC and was like that during. Its not as though it came out of nowhere.
Its interesting that you get so mad about his statement and how you can be so against nurses being paid well. You swallow everything that the tory party spit out even if its against popular opinion and unjustifiable morals. Cant you think for yourself? or are you just a bad person? -
You have ridden the coattails of brexit and tory power for so long you think youre on the right side of history.
Good luck with that. -

Neville seems to be biting the hand that fed him handsomely. It's an ill conceived comparison, both matters deserve better debate than this

Should nurses be paid 'well'. Yes. But inflation level public sector increases will massively impact private sector workers and create as many issues as it solves.
Personally, I think a good start would be to go after removing the low value roles that have nothing to do with patient treatment in order to compensate critical roles. There's so much waste in the NHS as there is with other public sector organisations.
Addressing the drivers of inflation are where action is needed. But I think requires an unpopular tackling of certain ideologies that no politician will want to do.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
