    Ian Heslop had Neville on toast when questioning him on why he was taking a substantial salary for his work out in Qatar if he was so against the regime. Neville had the option of rejecting that and staying at home. Hypocrisy or what.

    From what I saw Neville was saying we can't point the figure at workers rights in one country whilst ignoring the issue in our own. You only have to look at the front page of the scum to see how some people fighting for their rights are being totally demonised by a newspaper who sat on it's hands knowing the goings on inside downing street during the pandemic because their deputy editor was actually at No10 at that time.

    Both are virtue signalling morons. I have no time for such hypocrisy. And similar hypocrisy abounds all over the place. Narcissism and self indulgence masquerading as compassion. He's even losing credibility solely as a pundit given the backing he's offered previous colleagues/managers that sit at odds with the principles he espouses. A fan of 'managerial stability' but sacks his own managers on a whim. Happily speaks out against the Glazers now, but has remained silent for years when agitation might have made a difference.

    Basically, he's an obnoxious tit.

    No issue with that. But for Neville to have an anti Conservative rant and comparing our nurses working conditions to those of the construction workers in Qatar is utter nonsense.

    Neville and Lineker have form for it and it's time they were carpeted for it

    Neville wasn't telling the truth though was he.

    Our nurses and rail workers are not treated as bad as migrant workers who constructed the stadiums in Qatar. If you think that, then It would appear that you are crazy not me.

    The other point in all this is it didnt stop Neville and Lineker profiting handsomely financially for working out there.

    That's right, should he be up for either election as an MP for his beloved socialist party or even as Mayor of Manchester then yes he could carry on with the bilge that he comes out with, but it's the point that he and his ilk are corrupting sport with their political woke views thereby alienating at least half of his audience ...

    The issue people have with Neville has nothing to do with discussing the rights and wrongs of whether Qatar should have held the World Cup.

    The issue is Neville using this showpiece match to have his anti government rant.

    clearly what he said has cut deep with the resident crazies. When the truth is so apparent it hurts so they react like this in an effort to shut up the noise.

    I said either youre twisting the truth or you are dense. I didnt make any assertions. I think you know you were twisting the truth or maybe you didnt actually watch the entirety of what he said including the context. Either way its hardly my fault you approached the whole argument without much substance to back it up.
