When do we judge? Anytime now I’d say. Maybe tonight. GB, whom I happen to like as a person, has now had long enough this season to indicate how the rest will likely pan out. Win tonight and it’s been an okay start. Lose and the auspices are not good.

 

How so? Actually I wrote it last Tuesday but only discovered today that for some technical reason it hadn’t gone. I’ll make the point again that we are now getting to the point when we can judge the manager and each successive result gives us more information.

OR, in my seasonal stat ........ 56% of available points gained - with 44% dropped. Placing City ahead of the 50% gained marker, which would return 69 points over the season.

 

84-85. Top from November onwards if I recall correctly and up 15 points clear.
