Just on update on the February Event Prizes

Sorare announced a big update that massively changed my thinking and made getting a keeper essential.

I've decided to focus mainly on the MLS. It's just started back, and runs through the European season break so you won't have a couple of months of being unable to submit a team, atleast not until after about November. By which time you will hopefully have won some cards from the top Divisons on Holland, Belgium and Turkey or from the English Championship.

Now ideally I would be giving you a Messi but I can't even justify buying myself a Messi let alone buying one to give away. I would have also liked to giveaway a Charles Gil who has been one of the most consistently high-scoring players in the MLS but he was also outside my Budget

So far I have the following purchased



I couldn't get Charles Gil but I could get his Brother. Not as good but can still put in solid scores. Scored 62.7 (Sorare Scores are out of 100. Anything over 50 is good, over 60 is excellent) in the current Gameweek



A very solid Defender who I own an earlier season card for. Scored 61.5 this GW



Another good defender who I also own a card for myself. Scored 66.6 this GW.

I have a few other deals in the works. My backup for Messi is hopefully his Teammate Robert Taylor but I haven't sorted that deal out yet.

The hardest thing is a Keeper at the moment. I might have to look in Brazil as that League in the same Category as the MLS and their seasons are similar as right now the guaranteed starting MLS keepers are alone over the budget I gave myself for Prizes.

As well as a Keeper I also need a starting Forward and I am looking at a second Midfielder right now as well.

I might also throw in one of my two Wanyama cards. He seems likely to be a sub this season but with the travel required in the MLS there will be GW where he will start (And coaches are often a lot more open on when players will be rotated in than in Europe so you should know ahead of picking your lineup that week)
