Flyover Confirmation & Suggested Open Letter to Press Outlets

I'm astounded reading comments on Twitter this morning about the banner being "embarrassing".

Our fans are unbelievable, moan about the owners and want them out, do nothing about it and then have the cheek to criticise those who have done something. Hypocrisy at its finest.

 

I'm presuming Rupp is just following the plan of Rahic. All along this has been Rahic's dream, the one to own a football club and i'm sure over a number of meetings Rahic has done his salesman bit and succeeded in drawing Rupp in. Rupp is the bank and Rahic has to pay the bank back. The cost cutting all over the club is testament to that.
Problem i see is if Rahic gets the boot where does that leave Rupp. He clearly has no interest in the day to day running of a football club, so who would he turn to? I'm guessing he doesn't know anyone in the game like Rahic does, thats why he will never get rid of him, for his own sake it would be foolish. I think either both go or they try and stick it out together.

 

I'm not bothered either way by the 'fly over' but some trying to link it to the tragic events at Leicester bemuses me somewhat. Its a tenuous link at best and at worst it sums up our 'looking to be offended generation of today'.

 

Fully agree there the sort that just standby and do nothing but the first to complain iff the club went out of business, absolute phateic !

 

I'll taking a tub of Sudocrem on Saturday, if any bed-wetters piss rash starts to sting particularly bad, on Saturday at the sight of an plane and banner, I'll be at to help at hand.

 

I've read comments online that some would be done with the club if this happens citing the helicopter crash in their comment. I shall be thinking of these fans when the plane does go over the stadium, they need our support. Or something.

 

A dividend is voted on by shareholders. Who has the biggest shareholding ?

I think you mix up the general feeling of the whole fan base with what is said on here. Obviously everyone is concerned but they realise that this stuff is silly and counter productive. When there was chanting at the match the other day I heard a lot of people called the chanters idiots

 

Jon.....don't include Rupp's name on this. With everything thats going on, the pulling of any finances will not be good for anyone.

 

There's nothing idiotic about wanting positive change for the club.

the idiots are the ones that continue to sit there and watch it happen and do absolutely nothing.

 

But they cannot legally take any dividends until such time as our losses are eradicated.

 

I presume you mean he will be mortally offended by his names being linked on a banner with Rahic! Therefore will provide no investment? No change there then. I cannot understand why ppl can’t see what is happening.

 

More on twitter now saying we should change the day in respect for the Leicester Chairman. The only thing we might want to consider changing the day, is that the media will be preoccupied with the happenings at every club taking a minutes silence. One of the reasons was maximum publicity, looks like we might not get that now.

I think it should definitely be this week, and at 3;15 ish.

 

I thought the gripe was with Rahic as he is responsible for the day to day running of the club. As for Rupp although partly responsible for allowing Rahic to run the club like this I do feel that putting his name on the banner might not be the best idea. If he pulls the finances we really are up the creek. As for the fly over itself, it may be bad timing with the events of the weekend but I don’t see it’s relivence to what our fans are trying to achieve. I’m sure the Leicester chairman would see are issue and probably be supportive of us trying to do something about it
