I don't need a minute or two with Abbo to know that he has failed in his job as head of recruitment, are you seriously happy with our recruitment since he was brought back to the club?
He is now part of a trio of coaches who appear utterly clueless on how to set our team up and get the best out of them.

As I said yesterday, I don't doubt he loves our club and he is probably a nice man, but he has failed spectacularly in his roles here and along with Collins and Drury, has to go sooner, rather than hanging around much longer

 

I am less certain about sacking Abbo @Idlebantam. He is also working with Rahic as well. If his remit is to scout players in the 50p to a £1 range then it also limits your success as at that range you are picking up young players who will be inconsistent and it will be a speculative purchase. He may know we players in the £20-30 bracket for more chance of success but his hands are tied.

His role as assistant coach is worrying, I don’t like this three man coach system, the players will not know who is calling the shots!

The whole set up is a complete mess, and needs sorting before we lose our league 1 status. Three year contracts is also a worry. Maybe Edin does want us relegated to the conference league where it is certainly cheaper and he can actually play football manager with no pressure from fans or the football league!!

 

Well that was one of the worst away days ever stuck on the M62 and a dire dire performance again going to be a long season.

How you can barely muster an attack against 10 men is baffling. No real fight and absolutely no quality either on the pitch or in the dug out.
The team have no clue what they're supposed to be doing no pattern of play at all and the subs were daft why the hell he took Payne off and left hopeless Akpan on was a strange one for me. We put Wood out wide and take an eternity to get the ball any where near him.

Collins sorry lad time to go and.please take Edin with you apalling!

If he's allowed to attract players who presumably aren't cheap such as Payne, Scannell and Doyle and spunk £750k mainly on dross then I can't see the parameters being an issue. There's no way that limits you to "basics".

Why do we make excuses for people who are clearly not up to the job and have nothing on their CV to deserve their role. He's almost as Ill suited to be head of recruitment as Collins is for manager.

 

Don't buy the restrictions on who he can 'recruit. He has been allowed to sign players for transfer fees in the last 2 years, but has squandered that on players such as McCartan, Poleon and an injury ravaged player in Scannell, who is now out for a few weeks.
I can only think of Wyke as been a success both on the field and making a profit when selling.
McCall brought him here as a mate, and hopefully he will take him to Scunny with him

You do, then you'd be able to make a more insightful opinion, with more information to hand................I felt exactly the same as you but now I very much hope he stays as things go into meltdown.
