It's a great opportunity to improve our dismal home record.

Last season we accumulated more points away from home so it's certainly not the given you suggest.

 

It is. Even if it doesn't result in us making the playoffs, hopefully it will improve enough to get that monkey off our back ahead of next season.

 

Due to the pitch and lack of grass I think. If we are used to it (and don’t use it as an excuse) and others aren’t we may be able to grind out the necessary points in the short term, even though our home form has generally been disappointing.

We've been dire at home for years and I'm struggling to see how you can't acknowledge that.

 

Years of abject misery at Valley Parade and he'd rather have home games. You can tell the players would much rather play away where the support is behind them than a cold soulless stadium where the crowd turns every other game.

Our average is less than 3 in 10 over the season, stick in few draws and that gives us about 12 points from the last 30 possible, not even close to good enough or even mediocre.
