I actually agree with you and get what you are saying but I too would also like the stripes back.
Some of my favourite City teams over the years didn't wear stripes. Promotion and the cup win at Norwich both under Bobby Kennedy in a white kit. The team under Roy McFarland wore white, the team that Trevor Cherry and Terry Yorath had success with wore white. And that never to be forgotten day away to Wolverhampton Wanderers........white.trevor likes this. -

I assume everyone is aware that whatever our kit is for next season, it will have been decided months ago.
I remember James Mason saying that kit designs have to be signed off by at least December for the following season.
I hope it’s stripes. It will go a long way to getting rid of the ghost of Edin.Storck likes this. -

Identity is only useful when you can truly relate to it. There's been plenty of times iv'e stayed away from Valley Parade, No shirt design is going to change that.
Im a City fan, doesn't mean I have to choke down the dogsh*t I was fed this season.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...RonnieBrown likes this. -
A lot of teams now swerve away from kit colours for training strips. If we turned out in claret and amber training gear, then some folk may prefer that to the kit so buy that instead. Having plain, albeit different colour training wear leaves the chance of people buying two or three different variarions

As long as its claret and amber it's fine by me. Don't really care about the stripes, I like the variety.
-
ah, the whole stripes bullshit again. it must be brought up at least three times a year.
