Yes, I know there are rules, its a good job they didn't run on the pitch then, otherwise they could fetch hanging back to set an example of these criminals.

 

the mn has a point - what is the 'pitch area'? (absolutely not seeking to condone the idiots, one of whom seemed to have done some damage to James Vaughan in the Northampton game!)

 

I'd think all these guys are encroaching the playing area, just high spirits without doubt because of the late goal but eventually the FL will take action.

I thought clubs could not charge away fans more than what home fans pay, it will hit clubs like Accrington who get a very good pay day out of Bradford City's visiting fans.

Ok, you know when you go to the theatre(yes, don't laugh I go to the threate at time( Pull up in the Merc wearing my birthday suit) you've to pay more for front row seats.

The game and grounds have come on a long way since those days @Bantam67 (thank goodness) and during the Newby days it was taken for granted any fan who got onto the pitch was there to cause trouble, where as Saturdays encroachment was more out of frustration us putting the game to bed at 3 - 1.
Why don't the club put a 3 foot metal fence up at the Kop end with gates that can be opened if required manned by stewards as it is at the moment with the gaps at the bottom of every isle fans run straight onto the perimeter and possibly encroach onto the pitch.

 

Dave, a horrific idea to put fences back up at the front of the Kop.

 

I understand your reasons why, when we go to the likes of Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Crewe we are behind a small wall, if fans can't restrain their emotions and run onto the pitch something has to give, let's hope the incident is not in the referees game report.
