Aren't most of the teir 3 up North, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle Leeds and in the Midlands Leicester now I'm not suggesting a conspiracy theory but until all clubs are on a level playing field no fans should be allowed back

I think City have made it very easy for me. There will be no desperate rush back to see City clinch promotion in April because, let's face it, the only battle we are likely to be in, come April, is a relegation one.

More likely, City are going to be lower mid-table, making writing off attending any matches this season an easier decision.

I am confident that the vaccines will allow us to go into 2021/22 in a back to normal (or very near normal) position and so, for me, that's when I expect to recommence attending City's matches in person.

In the meantime, I will continue watching via iFollow and maybe dip my toe into live football by attending one or two matches at my local North West Counties team towards the end of this season.

Well you are and you are right!

Think the PL are going to turn down the offer of fans back because the original agreement was meant to be based on a percentage stadium size not a blanket number across the board.

Clubs are not going to make much money with the numbers the government are suggesting.

All this is designed for the south and Rugby Union.. Football isn't a consideration here.

Common consensus on here is that our players can't handle the crowds and that opponents are so in awe of the historic Northern Commercials Stadium (or whatever) that they raise their game, so surely no crowds should be a positive.

EFL clubs will lose money imho. They aren't selling additional tickets, after all, it will only be ST holders who they already have the money from. The costs of putting on the matches will be significantly greater than iFollow and they are unlikely to be allowed to have all the additional revenue stream opportunities either (Anyone who watches the Youtube channel Away Days where he goes to watch a different non-league club every Saturday will know he started doing Pie League ranking each clubs pies, but basically no club is selling pies right now and the food and drink options are very limited. Thats likely to be what will have to happen in the EFL as well, if they have refreshments/food it will be very limited and most likely the logistics will mean they won't bother at all).

For it to help financially they need to be selling tickets to people who aren't already getting ifollow access having paid for a ST

If we go into tier 2 and only 2k of the season ticket holders can attend, who will be the unlucky 2k?

Obviously, the unlucky 2k would be the 2k who can attend.

Even in the very unlikely event we are in Tier 2, I wouldn’t be interested in attending. Not just because the football is abysmal and the weather is crap, but because the whole Matchday experience for me involves a few beers before and after, and, given that T2 only allows for a drink with a meal, I’d rather save my money for when we can do things properly - hopefully from the 21/22 season commencing come August. (With a much better squad!)

We went unbeaten at home for a whole season didn’t we? And although our home record after that wasn’t perfect, I can’t remember a season where we’d been beaten 5-0 and 3-0 to the likes of Lincoln and Newport.

We're still in league 2 now though right? And we had plenty of fans through the gates in the relegation season and most of last year.

If you actually believe that having a home crowd doesn’t give you an advantage then I don’t know what to say.

I just believe recruiting a decent squad would have been more helpful than making excuses that a few sides have an advantage because they scraped a few socially distanced fans together to watch the games.

If you're good enough you'll win games regardless of fans.

With the new tiers I don’t think one stadium falls into tier 1 in the country? The government clearly knew this so the 4000 at a ground was just a ploy so they could kick the can down the road IMO
