I’ve voted no, if it’s still a requirement then I’ll follow the rules. I still think they should be required on public transport which is a breeding ground for germs at the best of times, but it’ll be all or nothing I’d guess.

If, for some reason, I find myself on a crowded train, I might put one on. Or if it’s a company policy to wear one on their premises, I’ll happily oblige...But in most circumstances, I won’t be wearing one.

If the club try to enforce fans to wear masks whilst in their seats I will seriously think about not attending and that is something that would never have cross my mind previously.

It's just become habit now, never bothered me in the least wearing one.

Will keep wearing one for public transport and big gatherings. Shame for the ladies cos I'm gorgeous.

    Tomorrow's game v Blackburn.

"Despite some national COVID-19 restrictions no longer remaining in place, Bradford City AFC will still implement a range of measures to help ensure the safety of the 4,000 people in attendance at Valley Parade - as agreed in advance with the local authorities."

"Face coverings are also to be worn AT ALL TIMES, unless a supporter is exempt from wearing one if, for example, suffering from asthma or similar symptoms."

Why? The friendly games at Park Avenue, Guiseley and Brighouse were all unmasked with many supporters stood right next to each other. Tomorrow we will have about 3k scattered around 3 stands all spaced out. Is this something Bradford Council have pushed onto them because next week at Accrington Stanley anyone can pile in behind the goal as long as they have a ticket.

I can see reasoning for some people to want to have masks indoors, but I can not for the life of me understand the need for them in an outdoor environment, especially when running at 1/6 of capacity. To my knowledge you don't have to at the Bulls up at Odsal. Infact their website states the following "Odsal Stadium will play host to the first non-restricted crowd since September 2019 on the 25th July in what promises to be a titanic battle between 2nd and 3rd in the Betfred Championship." for their game v Featherstone which takes place this Sunday.

And before anyone say's it's in a stadium so it's classed as indoors, having nearly frozen to death during the winter and getting soaked whilst sitting halfway up the stand when it rains at Valley Parade, the stadium is well exposed to the weather and is outdoors.

They don't enforce it now when its law to wear one so there's no chance of them doing it from Monday.

Some common sense at last. I'll wear one when I feel appropriate, such as on public transport or indoors where crowds of people are about.

I've considered that option but I don't want to go down that line. Each to their own. I'll be honest, I'll spend my money elsewhere.
I would like to know beyond this game if this is a prerequisite set down by Bradford Council that will be place for all home games?

They are not pointless. Most masks will provide some protection, although higher grade masks (N95, FFP2 and especially FFP3) will provide a high level of protection. And, of course, even the highest grade masks tend not to work too well when they are hanging around someone's neck.

Masks can be vital in reducing the viral load that someone sheds and that someone is exposed to, especially in crowded and poorly ventilated indoor areas.

Will continue to wear a face covering whilst indoors for the foreseeable future.

Not sure whether I will wear one in the ground though, unless I am asked to of course.

Genuinely shocked at how many are still wearing a face covering. Today in Asda it must have been probably 7 or 8 out of 10 people.

Having to wear a mask at all times is an enormous surprise. It's a significant change from what has been discussed previously by the footballing authorities. Wearing a mask in the fully enclosed areas eg on the concourses or in the toilets is one thing. Having to wear a mask when sitting down in the stands is something else.

This could well turn off a lot of people from attending the Blackburn game.

I'm of the same opinion Dave. Was going to take the Blackburn game in tomorrow but due to the restrictions, that has put me off.

Is it left to each individual club to come up with their terms regarding Covid we go from a crowd of well over 1.000 at Brighouse Town openly mingling with each other having a beer where they had to queue up, same with a burger ETC, it is a shocking move by the club if they stick to these draconian rules.
