Well, with all the crap that is going on in the world, we (Angels) are blown away with the generosity of Bradford City fans. Last time I looked the justgiving page was over £1200 which, putting it mildly, is f&&king unbelievable. Just wanted to say a big 'THANK YOU' from all down hear at Longmead. Running our club on limited income at the moment is a testing time, as it is for all non-league clubs, but with generosity such as this, it gives us all hope for the future of our club.
As for the draw itself, it is a crying shame that what will be the biggest game in the Angel's history will be witnessed by zero fans on the terraces. With Longmead having a capacity of 3k, I'm 100% sure that it would have been a sell out. Let's just hope that it's one of the featured games on TV.
By the way, all this reverse psychology malarky about you being the underdogs isn't working.... if you can just keep the score below double figures that would be much appreciated!

A great deal of credit should go to the Tonbridge players. They never stopped trying even at 7-0 and their heads didn't drop. More impressive to note was the fact that they didn't resort to trying to kick lumps out of our players in frustration.
Well done gents.
By the same token, a great deal of credit should go to our players for a professional performance with no trying to take the Mick out of them.
Also well done gents.CRASS, meelin, Old Grey Fox and 13 others like this. -
"well they're a good side, well drilled. it was a long journey and their squad has been together for a number of years."

This is a really nice gesture.. many thanks.
Sods law, as soon as we make the 1st round proper in decades and get that dream draw against a big club, and at Home, we can't have no fans.
With any luck BT or BBC might be interested.
Hopefully we can give you a good game, and may the best team win.CRASS, Bantam Boy, Stoneski and 10 others like this. -

It was a good performance by us what I wanted to see is improvement from the Southend match and the way we could improve from that game is to make sure in the second half we don't take the foot off the pedal which we didn't do.
The game yesterday and against Southend are hard to judge because the teams were poor but you can only try to beat what is in front of you and we did that. Well done to McCall and the players.
Oldham next but I am not fussed about that game at all. Exeter will be our really test on Saturday. That game we will be able to judge if the Bradford City are on a little up curve.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Regardless of the opposition the last 2 games will do the lads a world of good. Hope McCall sticks with this team now.

Was pleased about us putting out a full strength team today. The FA Cup is the world's oldest knock out competition and should be treated accordingly. Good professional job done as well but ended up feeling sorry for Tonbridge at the end, thy deserved a goal.Accept that the last two teams we have played have been poor but hopefully it will boost confidence and help us kick on from here!

Call me old, nostalgic or whatever, but that's the sort of ground that helped make the FA Cup what it used to be. Just a damn shame about the COVID thing because that would have been sold out, and I imagine a cracking day out.

Greetings! Talking of goal machines, Malcolm Macdonald started with us [Tonbridge] as a flabby 16-year-old. Because he had a big kick, he was increasingly sent up front to “have a go” if we were coasting or desperate. Our manager at the time was a Mancunian, Harry Haslam, now remembered mostly for his later exploits as manager of Sheffield United (such as scouting out Diego Maradona in Argentina but failing to sign him, and emptying a bucket of water over an abusive fan). We have a tradition of former players going on to make a name for themselves as managers, notably Ron Saunders, Roy Hodgson and Vic Akers. The last-named won just about everything going for Arsenal Women.

Last time we won 7-0 was against Darlington in 1972 and the following Saturday was a tough looking home game against Exeter. We won 4-0,is this a good omen for next Saturday?

My Dad supported Tonbridge growing up before moving up to Bradford in the 70s. He's a City fan now but has been waiting forever for this match... How so feckn frustrating that it happens the year no fans can go am absolutely gutted
