Your season ticket money, sponsorship, TV money and past transfer installment repayments.
If your a business man, especially one residing in another country the best purchase is a loss making football club so you can write off tax.
Believe me this is and always was a money making tax write off investment by a foreign business consortium.

 

True Telesto, agree totally on Rahic. I guess what we dont know is would Rupp want to stay involved if Rahic was no longer about and therefore this is where alternative funding would be necessary

 

I don't even have the words or the desire to comment on it all anymore. It's a disgraceful state of affairs and I hope the right people are hanging their heads in shame. Just so bitterly disappointing. At the moment I don't see anything but League Two.

 

I am lost for words. I can’t believe the situation is getting worse with every match. Just hoping against all the odds that they leave and that someone comes in that can invest in our club. It won’t stop us being relegated, but it will be a glimmer of hope that we might recover.

Oh, it would be progress if we could rise to the heights of a shambles! Omnishambles, I'd say, was coined for situations just like ours...

We are well on track for one of the poorest seasons in our history, if not the poorest. Only twice before have we lost as many as ten of our first fourteen league matches, only 5 times before have we scored ten or fewer goals in those opening fourteen. Only one such season, 1983/4, turned out well.

It really is shocking, not to say maddening, to see how quickly and completely a successful side that we could identify with and be proud of, has been wiped out. Have we been known in the Biblical sense? Well and truly. Sideways. With a hedgehog.

Unfortunately not.

 

It's got to the stage where I think that one of our adult supporters, picked at random, would be able to run the club better than Rahic if they were in his position and had his resources. Many of them may be completely unqualified, the randomly selected person may have even left school with zero qualifications, but at the very least they would be so overawed by the responsibility that they would consistently seek the input of people who have more experience running a successful football club.
