I don't think it's thick skin I think it's denial. I think Rahic probably has very thin skin he just hides behind the "model" and the "plan". He withstands the criticism because in his mind he knows (or hopes) that his model will ultimately deliver all of our hopes and dreams, everything will turn out fine if he just sticks to the master plan. Notice that he periodically disappears or goes quiet when things aren't going to plan.

When it becomes clear that the master plan has failed he and Rupp will disappear into a cloud of smoke never to be heard from again.

 

I’ve been thinking about this on the way home. There really isn’t any way back now for these owners. They can’t show their faces in Bradford, the amount of anger I saw in people today it’s not going to be pretty.

It’s not going to improve anytime soon either. It’s a sad fact that it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better. As far as Rahic & Rupp are concerned I think it’s beyond repair.

I don’t know what happens next, some of the possible endings don’t bear thinking about.

Yep time to raise the white flag I think, I'm not going Tuesday no 2 ways about it. Sadly I think I'm with @Faithful Bantam and won't bother returning until Rahic and Rupp have gone but who knows I might be bored on a Saturday and show my face, this season is knackered though a takeover won't save us and I doubt a good January window could.

He's a deluded owner and always was. We were there or thereabouts, a team that wasn't far off getting into the championship, beaten by Millwall, by a very slim margin. Deluded Rahic thought we should have been walking the league.
In virtually any other job, and without being an owner, he would have been sacked long ago for gross incompetency.

 

Can't understand why so many people bought season tickets.....they now have no voice!
The only voice the owners of the club are bothered about is money.
If people paid on the door based on how they perceived the club was operating and the team performing they could very quickly send a message to the owners.
Surely it's better being in control of events yourself rather than falling for paying up front for something you then have no control over!

 

If the club goes belly up , it is listing badly now, R&R will stand and watch it go down.
Past member of BCFC board have bent over backward to save the club from administration and from going out of business, but they were also true City fans, R&R are not.

Been watching City since ‘79. In footballing terms, i can’t think if there have ever been many more depressing moments for me than tonight. I am trying hard to remember the season we nearly got relegated from the league. That was, obviously, an awful team but there was a togetherness and a will to improve and that built to the History makers and beyond. But that has all simply evaporated. I can’t see myself going on Tuesday and I can’t think of the last time I chose not to go to a home game that I could make. I feel robbed of all the support and emotion I’ve invested as a supporter. I completely anticipate relegation this season and very probably again next season unless there is a massive change at the club.
Football isn’t everything and things in life mean an awful lot more, but I feel so gutted about the club.
Now then, where’s the beer???

The fact that James Mason took a job at Rochdale says it all. He knows that owners aren't going to be selling anytime soon, and any hope of him returning to the club as part of a takeover has gone for the foreseeable future.

We will go down and struggle big time in L2.
