I put the miles in as well last year. That little spell in December really lured me in haha Thought we'd turned a corner, how wrong I was. I'd go despite the poor football if I believed GB was going to have a go but you never get the impression he wants to go away and win a game. Our record proves that. His style of play is not my cup of tea at all and I don't expect tika taka. I do expect to play on the front foot and try to have a go at teams but it's not in his nature and it's driving me away. I'll go to Oldham if someone drives but I'm not making the effort to take myself.

 

It would be interesting to know whether the fans happy with GB are regular away followers. This isn't a 'I'm a better fan that thou' argument, but it may go someway to highlighting the reasons why some fans are considerably more fed up than others.

 

You should have selected the best 4 games and pretended we're averaging 2 goals a game.

 

I've never thought of it that way. I normally get to about 35-40 games out of the season whatever that equates to percentage wise. You obviously see good and bad performances in that amount of games but under GB it's been one long negative effort with no variance. I keep going every week expecting something to change and nothing does. I've got a lot of holidays/stag do's planned for this year and normally I'd be willing to stretch my finances to go watch City but under GB I'm keeping my money in my pocket and I'll be more comfortable in the long run come the summer and won't be full of regret when I'm having to keep an eye on my bank account. Normally it's not even a second thought to go watch City but I'm constantly having a fight with my conscience at the moment. Just want to see us play on the front foot and go for the wins as we have the players capable to do so. At the minute it's like I've watched the same game for 10 games on the bounce. Just rewind it back to the start press play and go through it all again.

 

There is absolutely no reason for fans who only go to home games to be unhappy. We have more wins 9.More points scored the same as Exeter 2 less than Swindon

 

Why do the majority keep booing then? People with ST's not going out of choice. Even Parker is starting to put the boot in and WOAP are questioning the team both usually positive glass half full merchants. Even after a win you're leaving VP in disbelief what you have just seen. The home record has done nothing but paper over the cracks.

 

The facts are we are winning at home Swindon who are held up as this great expansive team have scored 2 more goals than us. So home fans have nothing to complain about.i accept we have to improve away and I am sure it will

Most of the booing and it’s a tiny percentage comes from the upper cop behind the goal. Enough said

 

Garbage. The majority of E block in the main stand booed on saturday. Likewise many shouts aimed at Bowyer throughout the second half. You're deluded if you think the majority of fans are happy. Most will tolerate it whilst the league position is healthy, but only a small amount like yourself are genuinely happy with what they're watching.

 

Wow, that's a sweeping statement...

 

You were happy most of last season though so I'm not sure you're the best person to gauge fan feeling.

 

Care to explain? I don't sit there so I need it written out in layman's terms for me.

 

I've been stood in a stand where the majority has chanted "Gary Bowyer your football is s***" where does it stop? It's pretty damning in my opinion. It's getting worse by the week.

 

Am i entitled to less of an opinion because i am sat in the upper kop. I think you will find most of the encouragement comes from there too so your comment makes little sense

Park, You seem to have disregarded (or failed to spot if i were to give you generous benefit of doubt) a few posts , asking what you meant by your "upper kop, enough said" post

 

Barnsley last season was my last away. Trying to get out of that car park after the game and horror show killed any enthusiasm for going to any more. Have watched half a dozen on Ifollow since though. Handier and no hassle getting home after a dull away display.
