    Doubt it..

You can't afford him.. you can't afford his wages!

Moaning, moaning about wages already. So why would Doyle sign taking a 75% pay cut? Would you?

You do things on the never never! if by miracle you come up with the money then I am sure Bradford would want it all up front and I doubt you would do it.. Bradford City are not a charity and you lot play the poor card too often.

Only people that look stupid at he minute are Swindon fans that believe they have money! You don't!

Worry about keeping your manager than getting Doyle.

And his wages? It's not just about fee.

They've had 6 months to find he money and haven't.

For someone that say you have faith in Rhodes it does seem that you think he is a dum ar&e that's weak.

Just curious as to where you've got these 1.5k figures from?

We've just released Diagouraga and Mcglashan who were on a combined 7k per week wage. Big spending from Phil Browns time at the club. Attendances are also up. We budgeted for gates of 6k and have recently been exceeding 8k. There's money there available for the right players. I just don't understand why you are so confident to be ITK about our finances? it's a bit odd.

I get the figures from the value he is worth to you all plus without him you won't get promoted. Getting promoted will get you around 750-1m just on the back of it.

I get you're broke from your manager who acted like a baby this week. Suggest you read what he said about a player he wants but would have to take a pay cut.

I don't feel Doyle will take a pay cut to sign for you all.

I also don't think he really wants to move down south.

I just think Doyle is player that wants to maximise his wages, get paid and play football but keep his family happy which means staying up North...

Also think he has 5-6 months left on his contract and he won't be in a rush to sign for any club and this minute and will review offers at the end of the season.

Well I am not in the know about your finances. However, I am in the know about our ambition which is to gain promotion, we paid a fee for Doyle, we have paid his wages for the best part of two years. He is our player. Our club will maximise our chances of gaining promotion, therefore there is no way we will sell him to a rival. That would effectively enhancing your chances of promotion and decreasing ours. There would be 14, 000 fans absolutely aghast if that happens, not least reconsider buying next years season ticket if Doyle goes to you. It would be a PR disaster against it own fans. No money that Power could come up would need to be balanced against that background.

Age caught up with him. When he signed, we were told by Plymouth fans he was the main reason they almost finished in the league 1 playoffs in 17/18. I was pretty excited and amazed we got him. Unfortunately for us he never recovered from a lack of pre season and kept picking up injuries. In the end he was on too big a wage to justify a place in our squad.

Richie Wellens says a lot of things. He's a good bluffer. He'll say somebody is out for 3 weeks and the next day they are playing. He'll say we can't afford somebody and the next day they sign. Even our own fans have given up second guessing him.

You keep saying 'we can't do this' or 'we can't do that' and Doyle 'wants this and that' without actually having a clue. You are guessing and trying to pass it off as fact.

Well it's a shame you didn't think about all of the above when you decided to loan him to us in August, isn't it?

Curious as to why any Swindon fans should 'move on' when nobody from either club has ruled out the possibility of Doyle going back to Swindon?

Should we just move on because you told us so? you know as much as the rest of us.

Let's just see what happens. Still around 3 weeks of the window left.

When Doyle played for us, we had just been relegated, he like many of the squad were lacking in confidence. I presume the club wanted him off the wage bill, and no doubt Doyle wanted to get his form back. It is shame didn’t consider that if he regained his form that City would want him back I presume they read the contract. You should be grateful we let you have him for 5 months it is the reason you are topping the league. We are now in a better position financially and we now have him back.
