I enjoyed watching Blackburn. A level of performance we don't get to see in League 2.

 

Time to concentrate on the league, its not the winning it's the taking part.

 

Couldn’t go as I’m away,
but should we be beating what is a championship reserve team? Going back to cup ties in the 70s 80s we used to take on 2nd division first teams and not only compete but beat them. Are championship squads now so strong that they can make 10 changes and still play us off the park? Genuine question I’m not trying to have a moan.

 

With players like Dack in the team with a team flying in the championship it was always going to be a big ask

 

Enjoyable game, in reality could have been 5 or 6 without Lewis I really like him think we’ve got a good one there.

No shame in that, as others have said Blackburn were actually a very good watch, I’d love to be watching that standard every week.

Onto more important things in the league.

 

Blackburn had too much for us. Morton was outstanding at the back for them. They have some quality players. We couldn’t handle their skill and pace.

 

Anyone picking faults out of that need to give their head a shake. A very enjoyable game of footballl against a team with some very talented ball players on a surface that suited them down to the ground. Sometimes you simply ain't good enough.

 

it’s hardly a reserve team I bet the majority are still part of the first team squad at the weekend ............ I thought we did well but to me should have been having a real go to itch 20 minutes to go ............ ok the passing football at League 2 level but teams like Blackburn will be all over it ............... soon as Oliver came in we should have been targeting him with everything if there centre backs where the weak spot ...............btw think the ticket office got caught out big time tonight with the sit anywhere you want set up and the hundred that arrived on mass for ticket from 7:15 onwards

 

How did Harratt play this evening? I know it was against quality opposition but did he do anything that made you think he should be starting at the weekend?

 

I honestly think for balance chapman Cook and Angol is our best bet with plenty options from the bench

 

Beaten by a better team . No harm in that . Good performance if not a little tired towards the end . Only small negative I have is don’t piss about with it at the back

 

swamped because there players where far better you think we will come up against that sort of side at league 2 level ?

 

Great game of football and its refreshing to see the away team basically going for it-no time wasting antics.

Not upset we lost as to be fair they deserved it.

They were just a class above us and the gulf in class between championship and even league 1 seems to be widening.

They were fast on the ball, quick feet and always had a pass on and that was usually forward and dangerous.

If I were a Blackburn fan I would be quite excited about this coming season.

A very difficult game to judge him. His mobility and pace were a threat for the period we were actually in the game. I'd keep him in.

That team tonight in a 4-4-2 is the answer. We caused them problems first half. Harratt looked livelier that first half than Angol and Oliver have combined all season.

Spurs fans were gutted Markanday left and he ran the show tonight. Credit to Blackburn reserves. The class gulf was evident, but we mixed with them and gave them a game.

finally, we’ve got a well balanced system that suits us now. Outclassed tonight, but we’ve sorted the wheat from the chaff and that is our best XI now.

Did anyone else hear their fans chanting "Andy Cook is a sx offender" it was quickly stopped and around the 40th minute. I wasn't sure as only I seemed to have noticed but if true, that's appalling

 

Bang on. We didnt get swamped late on vs Hartlepool did we. Different calibre of opponent tonight.

 

True they were singing it, or true that Andy Cook is what they were singing?
