EFL 2020/21 Fixtures

Why the surprise? It's not like we didn't know who we'd be playing before the fixture list came out.

 

I've done it once, someone else can do it.

One thing that springs to mind is that they could be a right mess if the first few games can't be attended, then lockdown is reimposed mid season. Say it starts a game later, then the above are switched.

 

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but we are a league 2 club along with everyone else who we are playing. Without going over old ground we know why we’re here. Are you expecting something else?

 

So which are Amber and which claret

 

2 wins and a loss gets you double the points of 3 draws

 

The home games are Amber and the away are Claret

Never have I felt so flat looking at the fixtures. Its not the content of the list of clubs to play either, it is looking at it thinking we wont be there to see the opening games, and still so much uncertainty as to whether will manage a game at all

 

We were talking about a five game sequence Chad. Why do you want us to lose? Even in a 3 game sequence it's important to remain unbeaten. An excellent return from an unbeaten 3 match sequence would be 8 points. 6 points would be good. 4 points below average and 1 or 2 points inadequate really. For morale I'd rather we remained unbeaten.

 

You have to give the lad credit if nothing else he's consistent.

 

Struggling to raise much excitement for it, none of the signing have done owt to throw down the gauntlet imo and it won’t even feel like ‘football’

think I’d probably get more of a buzz this season if I bought an old copy of champ man

 

Seriously if you can't wait to watch league 2 football behind close doors then you need some serious help.

You read that fixture list and think well that's a list with teams we have played far more over our time in the Football League than the likes of Sunderland, Bolton, Leeds, Huddersfield,Burnley, the Sheffield clubs etc, we are historically a division three club seems as if some have forgotten those days.
Let's hope we earn the right to play many of the clubs some obviously believe we are on a par with by getting out of this division ASAP.

 

I care what league we’re in. But I share your sentiments. I’ve been watching a lot of football recently, especially the European games and I have no interest.
