Edin has gone

There is a lot of mutual ball tickling and gloating going on.
But lets not try and alienate those ‘on the fence’ fans who’ve been belatedly proved wrong.
We’re not all uber ITK fans with inside knowledge.
Most were just normal fans who are on the outside looking in, trying to make sense of the often conflicting rumours.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
The club needs every once of support it can get.
We all need to be on the same page moving forward...

 

I see no reason why we shouldn't be, many stated they were making a statement by not attending, but would return when Edin was no longer at our club, now's the time for them to start attending again no more Edin Rahic.

 

Regardless of where we are in the table, now Edin' s gone, I'm now more motivated to get behind the club, the manager and the team and look forward to renewing my season ticket. C'mon City. We're in remission.

 

I wonder if, as alluded elsewhere, Edin had been misleading Rupp on all matters City. If Rupp can provide concrete proof of Edin's lies/duplicity directly toward the majority shareholder surely this would have made it easier to relieve Edin of his 22%.

Words to the effect "You've lied to me, here's the proof, where's my money? Now gimme those shares or
i'll sue your ass!"

 

I was wrong about Edin Rahic. Up until a few months ago, I thought people were overreacting and spreading wild rumours out of devilment.

I believe I was probably in the same boat as Stefan Rupp.

Goodbye Edin. You'll go down with a whole host of other things that have nearly ruined Bradford City, but we're still here, we should all be proud of that.

It would take something much bigger than a little man with a giant ego to finish us off, too many people care about this club. May that be a warning to all those who come after.

 

Stefan Rupp has a face and demeanor that are impossible to dislike. He just needs to be more vocal/visible and people will be happy enough.

 

It will be interesting to find out the nuts and bolts of his departure. Myself and many others will want a total break, whereas he's no financial link to the club at all. Does anyone on here know the details ( fact not pretence).
The only clue given to suggest his 22 % has been sold is in Katies article in the Daily Telegraph today where she wrote :-
"Rahic, 45, previously owned 22 per cent of the club "

 

Great news and massive relief! Best way forward now is get right behind the players,Hopkin and Julian and demonstrate just how right this decision was by jump starting our season and see an unprecedented change in form that will confirm Stephan did well and encourage investment moving forward.

If you sack Edin Rahic, appoint JR as CEO and promise to invest in the club in January announced in a very PR savvy press release you get some time.

Fans: "Please show the club the respect it deserves, or there will be a flyover because you're ruining a thing we care about"
