Brilliant news which we've all been praying for.

Quite a statement from Rupp, which I think is to pacify fans and deflect any criticism from himself. However, Rupp has hardly covered himself in glory by allowing Rahic to go so far with his reckless and idiotic running of the club.

I am willing to back Rupp now though, and hopefully we can stay up this season, and start the recovery process. But please Herr Rupp, don't take your eye off the ball again

Very curious to what Rahic is going to do now. Egg on his face and tail between his legs and back to Germany, or will he try his hand somewhere closer to home?
Feel sorry for the fella a little bit. Not many of us will have the chance to find out if we’d succeed in our dream job or not. Fair play for him for having a go (same could be said for Michael Collins). I’m glad Rupp grew a pair and decided enough was enough.

Agreed, there's no guarantee you'd be good at your 'dream job', but those lucky enough to get the chance are bound to give it their best shot.

There's no questioning the work ethic of Rahic, it wasn't that that failed him, it was a combination of things - but in the end, he wasn't up to it.

Going by the snapchat I just received the staff at City are having something of a celebration with food laid on - so that would strongly suggest to me that he is gone 100%, shares and all.

 

Same for me but. I think the most realistic position will be that that’s in progress as I wouldn’t imagine it would be a quick transaction. Him leaving as chairman and ceo will be just part of the process. I’d expect another announcement in the next few weeks

Can never feel sorry for someone who treat's fellow beings as though they are something unpleasant he has trodden in. The staff he showed the door to had in the main been here for some time, been successful, had pride and at least, had work.

 

I wouldn't rule it out.
I know it was Julian and his dad who were far more in favour of selling their shares in the club rather than Mark, but I'd think it's a totally different scenario working under Stefan than it was working alongside Mark, they knew and often said we needed a Cup run to generate funds, where now he's working for a guy who has that sort of finance that could take the club to the next level.
The main thing now is to get behind the club and hope Hopkin can turn it around and give us a bit of breathing space to get a squad together who can be there or thereabouts come May 2020.
I was very much in favour of blaming both parties with regards to what's happened under Stefans watch but reading between the lines I do genuinely believe he was not aware of things that were happening at our club, hence Stefans damning comments.

 

I don't think for one minute there is any doubt Edins gone, I was hoping the money mentioned by Katie Whyatt in the Telegraph was for potential signing but if @EricMcManus says were skint I believe that, so the question has to be where did the money go ?.
